Social Media is a part of everyone’s lives.
Although it is fun and useful, it can become
harmful in ways you wouldn’t expect.
Almost everybody has used social media in
their life.

 including multiplayer online games

Every body uses social media and can't control
what others do online. with that being said,
there are a lot of negative effects because of
cyberbullying and inappropriate usage of sites.
 Over usage of social media can result in
people being antisocial and stressed.
The reasons for that are:
They refuse to get off the internet
They are online too much to socialize
Procrastinate too much b/c they’re on the
internet
preteens and teenagers are made more prone to
anxiety, depression, and other psychological
disorders, as well as by making them more antisocial

and awkward.

of an apparent CONNECTION BETWEEN
BULLYING, BEING BULLIED, AND SUICIDE
 Youth who are bullied are 2X AS LIKELY to commit
suicide than those who are not bullied

Social Media has its good and bad
aspects. It’s good b/c it’s fun and
entertaining, but its downside is that it has
bullying and changes your
attitude/motivation.
Social media is a great thing, but it would
be even better if people used it correctly
and less frequently.
