0.7 DEFINITIONS
Refer Latest Revision of PCAA ANO-145-AWRG, AWNOT-84, AWNOT-85, AWNOT-87 and AWNOT-017-AWRG

Repetitive Defect: means a defect in an aircraft (including in its components and system) which
recurs, in spite of rectification attempt, on the same aircraft or on another aircraft of the same
type.

Re-inspection: shall be considered an error-capturing method subject to the same conditions

as an independent inspection is, except that the ‘authorized person’ performing the
maintenance task is also acting as ‘independent competent person’ and performs the
inspection.
