8.5 Summing Up
In this lesson we have learnt how to stylize text with the help of shape tool. We
also learnt how to create text styles and adding texture to text. Adding styles and effects
using various other tools have also been demonstrated in the exercises.
A graphic or text style can be created from an object by dragging the object to
the Graphic and text styles Docker window / palette also.
2. Customizing the graphic and text styles Docker window/palette means that You
can specify what types of styles graphic, artistic text, or paragraph texture
displayed in the Graphic and text styles Docker window/palette. You can also
specify that only the styles available to selected objects will display. For example,
when you select artistic text, only artistic text styles appear in the Graphic and
text styles Docker window/palette.
If you are using several styles to format a drawing, displaying only the styles
applicable to the selected object makes it easier to find the style you want. As
you select graphic objects and text objects, CorelDRAW automatically refreshes
the Docker window/palette and displays only the relevant styles.
