Creating Patient Portal Account

1. Visit https://29151-1.portal.athenahealth.com to log into portal or create a new account.

2. Select if you are a patient or caregiver/family member.

3. If you select patient, please enter in date of birth and email address. Email will be
sent with additional instructions.

4. Access your email and click Create My

5. Create your new password, then Save and continue.

6. Choose your security option

7. After following instructions on security options your portal will be created!

 Linking children to parents portal

1. Once logged into portal click on name in right hand corner to see dropdown. Then select
Family Access Settings.

2. Click add patient on next screen.

3. Enter in patients information that you wish to link. All red asterisks (*) must be
completed.

4. You must verify your identity to link patient. Select call or email temporary passcode
then send code.

5. Enter passcode and select continue.

6. Patient will now be linked to portal account. You can repeat steps 2 – 5 to add any
additional children.
