Hi Jamie,
Yes, of course I can come. I’m really looking forward to visiting the sports centre with you! But actually, I’ll meet you
there because I have to go shopping in town first, so I’ll walk there from town. It’s not very far.
You asked me about which class I want to do. Well, I play badminton quite a lot already, but I’ve never done yoga
before – so let’s try that! And when we finish, we can go for a snack in the café next to the centre.

I live in the south of the country. If you visit there, you really must go to AquaLand Park. The whole family will enjoy it
there.
It’s exciting because there also are thrilling rides to go on as well as lots of water slides and beautiful swimming pools.
And there’s an area which has different sea creatures for you to see. They even have some sharks and other fish that
you can feed. It’s great!
It’s open all year, but it’s best in August because the water is warmest. So, for a fun day out, you mustn’t miss
AquaLand!

As I began to open the large wooden box, something inside it moved. I jumped back in shock. ‘What’s in there?’ I asked
my mum, who was standing next to me. The box had been on the table when I came downstairs, next to a card. I’d
opened the card and written inside was ‘Something special!’
It sounded exciting, but now I was worried. Mum smiled and said, ‘Open it!’ As I was moving towards the box, I heard
a small noise. It sounded like … ‘A puppy!’ I shouted as I opened the box. And yes, inside staring up at me was a little
dog. It was the start of a long, beautiful friendship.
