new resistance or intensity to his/her efforts in training.
Reversibility- This states that after some time, the body gets accustomed to a level of intensity
which is why a person needs to increase the intensity to continue improvements.

I can say that demographics is important in my strand, which is STEM, because it is a
large part of research, science, technology, and even mathematics. One example of how it
can be used is in research, where demographics are used to provide information regarding
the research participants in an experimentation. This is used to determine if the
characteristics of the participants are in line with the target population needed for the
study.
2. Why is user feedback important? Explain. (5 sentences)
User feedback is important because it is a vital part that you need to improve your
website further. It enables visitors to have their say about your website whether it is
positive or negative. User feedback will help you identify your site’s strengths and
weaknesses. You will have an idea of what needs to stay unchanged, what needs to be
upgraded, and what needs to be removed from your site. This is something you need to
attract more visitors and increase customer satisfaction.

1. Where is the pacific ring of fire located?
The pacific ring of fire is located along the edges of the Pacific Ocean. It extends
northward along the eastern coast of South America and the western
coast of North America, westward along Alaska, and then heads
southward along the western coast of Asia and southward around
Australia.
2. Why is it called the ring of fire?
It is called the ring of fire because along the edges encircling the Pacific Ocean are
hundreds of active volcanoes spanning over 40,000 kilometers. This is a region where
most volcanoes are found to erupt and cause earthquakes and tsunamis.
3. What does the ring of fire have to do with plate tectonics?
The reason why the Pacific Ring of fire even exists is because of plate tectonics.
Volcanoes, trenches, and mountain ranges are abundant in this area is because of the
movement and collisions of plates under and around the Pacific Ocean.
4. What events on earth’s surface tend to occur in this region more frequently than in other
regions of the earth? Why do they occur?
Events that happen in the pacific ring of fire more frequently than in other regions of the
earth are earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. These geologic events occur because of the
continuous movement of tectonic plates in the area. Volcanic activity is widely present in
the ring of fire because of the plates that converge. The denser plate underneath goes into
subduction, melts, and becomes magma. It eventually rises to the surface and forms a
volcano. Earthquakes occur because of the tectonic plates moving sideways past each
other, otherwise called a transform plate boundary.
5. What do trenches and mountain ranges have to do with the ring of fire and plate
tectonics?
The deepest trenches can be found surrounding the pacific which means that they are part
of the Pacific Ring of Fire. Trenches are a result of plate tectonics, where convergent
plate boundaries take place and the plates meet at a subduction zone causing the
formation of trenches. Since the Ring of Fire is located near plate boundaries, mountain
ranges have also formed in this region because of the converging of two continental
crusts.

matukoy ang kahulugan ng mensaheng sinasabi at hindi sinasabi kapag
 nakikipagtalastasan. Bukod doon, mauunawaan din ng taong ito ang intensyon ng
nagsasalita kaya mabilis lamang mahulaan at intindihin ang mensahe na pinaparating.
Maiiwasan dito ang di-pagkakaintindihan dahil malinaw para sa tagapakinig ang
intensyon at mensahe ng nagsasalita.
2. Kakayahang Istratedyik
Ang katangian na ito ay nararapat ding taglayin para maging isang epektibong
komunikeytor dahil hinuhubog nito ang aking kakayahan na gumamit ng mga istratehiya
upang makipagtalastasan. Kahit limitado ang aking kaalaman sa isang wika ay kaya ko pa
rin itong punan sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng di-verbal na hudyat gaya ng kumpas ng
kamay at ekspresyon ng mukha. Isa pa ay magkakaroon ako ng kakayahan na gumamit
ng verbal at di-verbal na komunikasyon na importante para mas maunawaan ng nakikinig
ang aking mensahe.

Pagninilay
Ang natutunan ko sa ikatlong lingo ay… tungkol sa kakayahang pragmatik at
istratedyik, at kakayahang diskorsal. Nagkaroon ako ng kaalaman tungkol sa mga uri ng
komunikasyon, mga anyo ng di-verbal na komunikasyon, mga antas ng komunikasyon, at
ang anim na pamantayan sa pagtataya ng kakayahang pangkomunikatibo.

CONCEPT PAPER
Project: a website that concerns the environment and the earth’s natural resources, promoted on
various social media platforms to increase audience, provide facts about the earths condition,
daily news about what is happening to earth and its resources, provide concrete ways and plans
to reduce carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emission, create infographics to post on the
website
The over-exploitation of Earth’s natural resources has made a significant impact in the
rapid increase of greenhouse gas emissions and the planet’s worsening condition. Whether these
resources are renewable or non-renewable, they are meant to be protected, not taken advantage
of. Since we are in the middle of a global health crisis, our actions to help conserve the earth’s
natural resources are limited. However, bringing awareness and getting together as a community
is still possible with the use of internet. Our group proposed the idea of creating a website that is
all about the environment and taking care of planet Earth. This project is in line with our group’s
mission which is to motivate people to be part of an environmentally conscious community that
seeks to protect and preserve nature before it is too late.
 The proposed website will be named Chat with Chanea, which is named after the team
leader of our group. The purpose of this project is to create a space for experts, professionals, and
even common people to interact and share their expertise about how to lessen the risk of the
depletion of natural resources. The website, Chat with Chanea, will serve as a platform where
they can post their blogs to promote awareness about what people can do for the environment
during the pandemic.
Our group will be creating the website using WordPress. We will be collaborating with
environmentalists and non-profit organizations in order to come up with credible information and
statistics that will be posted on the site. We will also be providing posters and infographics that
will call to the attention of our visitors and help boost the website. Furthermore, our group will
be proof-reading and fact-checking every submitted blog before posting to make sure that the
written blog is accurate, credible, and not plagiarized. Aside from that, we will be assigning a
committee in charge of the structure and flow of the website to make it up-to-date, organized,
and user-friendly to all ages.
We will need two weeks to plan and develop the website according to our objectives. For
this project’s budget, we will need some financial aid to purchase application softwares like
Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to make quality digital media for the website. Our
team will be covering the expenses for internet connection and gadgets used to execute the
project. The promotion of the website will be done in social media platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, and Twitter that offer free services.

Go beyond!
I will respond to God’s invitation to put my faith into concrete actions by caring for His creation
just like Jesus did for the people. I will lend a hand to others, especially the poor and vulnerable.
I will not shy away from the world but instead I will open up myself to be of service and within
reach of those who are in need. I can do this by donating clothes and food to families affected by
the COVID-19 pandemic and doing volunteer work at community feeding programs.
I learned that… we must not turn away from God because it will rob us of all source of goodness
in life. I also realized how much Jesus loved us that he sacrificed himself and died on the cross to
save us from our sins.

TECHNICAL REPORT:
Question: Does chocolate really provide happy hormones?
Hypothesis:
Chocolate does not have a significant effect on providing happy hormones to
students.
The materials I used for this research are a personal computer and online published
articles. For the beginning of the experiment, I created a short questionnaire using Google
Forms to ask Grade 11 students about their experience and relationship with chocolate. I
included three questions to determine if it does provide happy hormones to the consumer.
Then, I looked for published articles about chocolate and its components to see the specific
properties in chocolate that are responsible in giving the consumer happy hormones. After
three days, I went to Google Forms and checked the responses to each question. I analyzed
the overall answers by clicking the Summary tab under Responses.
The responses from the survey showed that 100% of Grade 11 students have
experienced a significant improvement in their mood after eating a chocolate bar or
something made out of chocolate. 89.5% of Grade 11 students think that they will feel better
if they eat chocolate when they are under emotional stress. My search on the Internet also
showed research studies and articles that prove that cocoa, a major ingredient found in dark
chocolate, has theobromine, phenylethylalanine, tryptophan, and makes the brain release
serotonin and dopamine.
The answers from the respondents in the survey showed that chocolate has an effect
on their state of mind which proves that chocolate is an effective mood enhancer, especially
when an individual is under emotional stress. In addition, the presence of theobromine in
chocolates give the brain the same stimulant effects that caffeine does. Phenylethylalanine,
on the other hand, is a chemical known to stimulate the pleasure center of the brain and is
commonly released when people fall in love. Aside from that, an article from BBC Science
Focus Magazine stated that the chocolate contains tryptophan which triggers the brain to
produce the happy hormones: dopamine and serotonin. The results from the experimentation
proved that chocolate does lift the mood of a person and provides happy hormones. This will
be the basis as to why I will reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis.
 Through my short experiment and research on the relationship between chocolate and
happy hormones, it has been proven that chocolate, specifically its contents, have properties
that stimulate the human brain to produce chemicals that trigger the release of serotonin and
dopamine. Therefore, I conclude that chocolate does provide happy hormones to the people
who consume it.

impormasyon. Ang liham na ito ay may strikto na porma, sinusulat gamit ang pormal na mga
salita, at direkta ang paglalahad ng mga ideya. Sa pagsulat ng pormal na liham, iniiwasan ang
paggamit ng mga pinaikling salita. Sa halip ay sinusulat ang buong anyo ng mga salita.
Ginagamit ang Pormal na liham sa opisyal o propesyonal na komunikasyon. Ang mga

Ang Di-Pormal na liham ay kadalasan sinusulat para sa mga matalik na kaibigan, kamag-
anak, o kakilala. Sa pagsulat ng di-pormal na liham, hindi kailangan na strikto ang porma at
maaaring gumamit ng impormal na mga salita at istilo ng pagsulat. Mas simple at pinaikli ang
mga salitang ginagamit sa pagsulat ng Di-Pormal na liham. Ginagamit liham na ito sa mas
kaswal at personal na komunikasyon. Ang mga halimbawa naman ng Di-pormal na liham ay
Liham Pagbati, Liham Pakikiramay, at Liham Pakikidalamhati.

Maliban doon, natutunan ko rin ang kahulugan at layunin ng iba’t-ibnag uri ng liham. Natuto rin
akong sumulat ng isang liham aplikasyon at ditto ko nagamit ang aking bagong kaalaman sa
pagsusulat ng isang organisado at kapani-paniwalang liham.

Naniniwala ako na kwalipikado ako para sa trabaho dahil taglay ko ang mga katangian na
