The Schedule Data Exchange Program is a new IATA initiative which will provide an
industry-owned and controlled flight schedule and MCT database. It is part of the
IATA data strategy and endorsed by the IATA Board of Governors. It aims to reduce
IATA’s dependency on 3rd party schedule providers and put airlines in control of
their schedule and minimum connection time (MCT) data via IATA.
