RE: 2024/25 UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION

I have pleasure in informing you that you have been offered a place at the University of Botswana beginning
August 2024 to read for Bachelor of Education Chemistry, 1st Year Full-Time in the Faculty of Education.
The programme is of 4 year(s) duration.

Classes begin on the 29th July 2024

Candidates are advised to follow up on their sponsorship applications with their prospective sponsors
immediately on receipt of this letter. All inquiries concerning accommodation should be addressed to the Director
of Student Welfare.
If you wish to accept this offer you must comply with the following requirements:

1. Complete the acceptance form on-line. The login details are as per the attached guidelines.

2. If no response is received from you within 20 days of the date of this letter, the offer to you will be
withdrawn and the place offered to another applicant.

3. Please note that the University of Botswana reserves the right to withdraw this offer or/and take any
action as it deems fit, anytime in the event of discovery of some discrepancy related thereto.

4. All international students are expected to satisfy the Botswana Immigration requirements. Inquiries
regarding a Residence Permit should be addressed to the Director of International Education and
Partnerships at the University address before taking residence.

5. If after accepting this offer you decide for any reason that you cannot take the offer please inform us
before registration, so that your place can be filled. A place not taken cannot be reserved. If you fail to
take your place and should you wish to come the following year, please apply in the normal way.

Late registration fee is charged at the rate of P120 per day irrespective of the reason for lateness. Late comers
will not be allowed to register before they pay the required charge. No registration shall be allowed one week
after commencement of lectures.
