ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA

STAGE – 1 (ASSESSMENT – ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA)

NOTE: ALL SCANS MUST BE OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS AND IN PDF FORMAT, IN COLOUR AND
AT A RESOLUTION OF ATLEAST 300 DPI. ENSURE PDF ARE NOT PASSWORD PROTECTED. DO
NOT SUBMIT CERTIFIED COPIES, PHOTOCOPIES OR BLACK AND WHITE COPIES.

1. ASSESSMENT FEES:
 The Assessment Fees is AUD $ 850 / additional AUD $ 325 (Fast track) payable to
Engineers Australia.

2. Education Documents: All mark sheets and Passing Certificates related to:
 10th (Mark sheet)
 12th (Mark sheet)
 Bachelors (Degree Certificate and Mark sheet)
 Masters (Degree Certificate and Mark sheet)

3. Resume: Resume must be updated as per the reference letters once when the reference
letters are Finalized.

4. Work Related Documents:


 Appointment/Offer Letter.
 Experience Letters/Relieving Letters/Service Certificate.
 Promotion/Appreciation Letters.
Payment Evidence: must include at least two different types of documentary evidence from
the following list of categories. Each must cover the beginning and end for each employment
period being claimed in the application
 Form 16/26AS Official government tax records or documents that may include payment
summaries, group certificates or notices of assessment (citing company and applicant name)
 Pay slips citing names of the applicant and
 Employer Bank statements showing salary payments from employer (citing applicants
name and name of employer).

5. Employment reference letter: Your reference


 At least five detailed engineering duties you performed during your employment.
 The exact period of your employment (including a start and end date, month and year).
 Type of employment – whether part time or full time.
 Your pay rate.
 Endorsed and signed by the issuing manager, HR representative or direct supervisor
including their work email address and phone number.

 The date on the letter must be as recent as possible. For previous positions, the date
must be after you left the company.

6. National Identity
 Passport
 Aadhaar Card
 Pan Card copy
 Evidence of change of Name (if applicable)

7. Additional Document:
 Marriage Certificate

8. A passport-sized photograph (35mm to 40mm wide and 45mm to 50mm high)

9. Evidence of your English language competence (IELTS – 6, TOEFL – 12, PTE 50 in all modules)

10. Written statement that lists evidence of your continuing professional development (CPD).

11. Career episodes (competency demonstration report)

Each career episode should be between 1000 and 2500 words. A career episode is an account
of your engineering education and/or work experience. Each career episode focuses upon a
specific period or distinct aspect of your engineering activity.
