I. Objectives:
At the end of the 1-hour lesson, the students shall be able to:
a. Define art of questioning;
b. Differentiate strong and weak question;
c. Understand importance of features of questioning; and
d. Utilize art of questioning through writing.
It’s a great day to learn something new first, let's check the (Students will utter a short
attendance and make sure to follow the seat plan. Also, kindly prayer.)

Then, let us all rise and start our class with a prayer.
Keep anything that is irrelevant to our subject on your bags
because I just want to see your notebooks, writing pads, and (Students do as they are
pens. If you’re all done, you may have your seats. told.)
2. Instructional Process
I. ACTIVITY
QUESTION TO WONDER!
Instructions:
Using any sheet of paper, write one (1) question that you want to
ask your classmate. Roll it, then the teacher will call and read
random questions from the rolled papers. Using the wheel of
names, the name who’s to appears on the screen will answer the
question.
Processing Questions:
1. What was your impression of the given task?
2. What have you observed to the given questions? Is there
any comparison that you can draw out of all the given
questions?
3. How can you classify those questions? How about the way
it was constructed?
Very good, you are all right!
Transitional statement:
As observed in the activity, the questions may somehow sound
difficult to answer or easy. And the complexity as well of how it’s
constructed varies. So, here comes the focus of asking a question
and making it much more understandable and the like. That is what
we called art of questioning.
III. ABSTRACTION
Classification of Question:
Features of questioning:
1. It can lead students to actively engage with the content they are
learning.
2. It can expand their thinking, promote reflection, clarify
understanding, and require new ways
of thinking about ideas, concepts, beliefs, opinions, problems, and
solutions.
3. It helps students monitor their understanding and construct
meaning.
4. It enables learners to drive to find answers and they are curious
about what they will discover.
Concluding statement:
And so, it is important to make sure that you just don’t ask
question, rather than integrating art on it make it sound natural and
making a conversation more colorful and interesting.
PRACTICE
