Accelerator (Inject in 3 Spots – Not all at once!)

Ramrod
Piston
1. Ramrod is used to push against piston to unseat valve
allowing injection of accelerator into base
(DO NOT inject accelerator all in one location; a
minimum of three separate locations are recommended Dasher Blade for Mixing Material Polysulfide Base Plunger
for good mix) Make sure no accelerator remains in Dasher Rod
(Ramrod must be fully bottomed out)
2. After Accelerator is fully injected, the ramrod is One Full In/Out Cycle = One Stroke

NEW - 3M Scotch-Weld Void Filling

Compound EC-3515 B/A FR
Two-part flame retardant epoxy that can be stored, applied,

and cured at room temperature. 3M Scotch-Weld EC-3515
B/A FR can be used for void filling, edge sealing, and as an
abradable compound. It is available in either blue or black color
when mixed and fully cured. We are working on qualifications
that will allow EC-3515 B/A FR to replace EC-3524.
Key advantages are:

• Cures to a strong, low-density material within 48 hours at 75°F (24°C).
• Meets the flammability requirements of 14 CFR 25.853 (a).
• The compound has thixotropic properties for ease of application.
• Provides localized stiffness for honeycomb.
• Seals and provides impact resistance to honeycomb panels edges.
