SMS based Home Automation and Security using GSM & Microcontroller 8051
The objective of this project is to develop a device that allows the user to remotely control and monitor multiple home appliances using a cellular phone. This system will be a powerful and flexible tool that will offer this service at any time, Possible target appliances include door lock control, sprinkler system, water level monitoring, security systems, and lights anything with an electrical interface. Technology used: To control the appliance or to enhance any security system the user should send a corresponding AT command through SMS Via GSM and the respective operation is performed with the help of AT89c52 Microcontroller, Relay drivers, Timers and also from different sensory models like Gas, IR and Temperature Sensors which continuously monitors the status of the appliances and Security is achieved. The coding is done in mvision3 Compiler. Embedded C using Keil

We were four members in a team, we divided the work among ourselves to achieve our project. As a member of a team I worked on assembling, coding, integrating the components. Extended application: Use of Cameras along with the internet enhances live streaming of the video captured in the Home.
