EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 24-01-30

AN ORDER ORGANIZING THE COMMUNITY FIRE AUXILIARLY BRIGADE OF

BARANGAY GAYA-GAYA, CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the State to maintain of peace and order, protect life, liberty, and property,
and promote general welfare for the enjoyment by all the people of the blessings of democracy;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9514, otherwise known as the Fire Code of the Philippines of 2008,
provides that the State shall ensure public safety and promote economic development through the
prevention and suppression of all kinds of destructive fires;

WHEREAS, Section 5 of the said law mandates all local government units to provide the necessary
assistance to ensure its enforcement;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 391 (a) (16) of the Local Government Code of 1991, every barangay is
enjoined to organize their respective Community Fire Auxiliary Group;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ENRY L. SANTOS, Punong Barangay, Barangay Gaya-Gaya, City of San
Jose del Monte, Bulacan by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the organization of
the Community Fire Auxiliary Brigade, to wit:

Section 1. Composition. The CFAG shall composed of to following:

Head: SERVILLANO L. CABADING

Chief Tanod

Members: TELESFORO GERONA

Barangay Tanod

RICHARD PAGHUNASAN
Barangay Tanod

VOLUNTEER: (at least one per sitio or purok)

Section 2. Duties and Functions. The CFAG shall have the following functions;
1. Undergo mandatory fire suppression, inspection, rescue, emergency medical services and
related emergency response trainings;
2. Act as the first responding unit at the barangay level in case of fire/ emergencies; and
3. Act as force multipliers in the protection-related IEC activities at the grassroots level.
Section 3. Funding Support. Funding support for the continuing capacity development of the members
of the members of CFAG shall be allocated under the Peace and Order and Public Safety Program of the
Barangay.

Section 4. Effectivity. This order takes effect immediately.
