Mr. DRY®803
MR. DRY 803 is a Single component Rubberized
Bituminous Elastomeric liquid Waterproofing membrane.
which forms a resilient yet highly adaptable coating that
can be applied effectively in any desired thickness using a
brush, roller or spray, resulting in a fully bonded
waterproofing layer with minimal product wastage
Uses:
• Ideal waterproofing system for concrete roofs,
polyurethane foam slabs, polyester built up roofs
• maintenance of existing roofs, masonry and concrete wall
• Substructures like Basement, Lift ducts, Retaining walls,
• Waterproofing of bathroom and kitchen
• bridges, decks, Podium Areas, metal surfaces etc
• Damp-proof membrane
• As a curing membrane Plaster key.
• As an insulation board adhesive.
• Protective coating for concrete substrates
Advantages:
• Single component, Liquid applied, flexible & easy to use,
• Exhibiting extremely high elongation capabilities, it can
withstand significant levels of expansion, contraction, and
deck movements.

applied with suitable reinforcement for optimal results.

Packaging:
MR. DRY 803 is supplied in 20 Kg buckets.
Coverage:
1.8 – 2 Kg/Sqm in 2 Coats for 1 mm DFT (including primer
coat). Actual coverage will vary with surface conditions.
(Note: Water Dilution up to 10 % is applicable for brushablity)

Application procedure:
Surface preparation:
The surface to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned. Remove
all traces of formwork, release agent, grease, efflorescence,
laitance, algae, or another contaminant that may prevent proper
adhesion. Remove organic materials by scraping, brushing, or
high-pressure water cleaning. Any weaknesses in the surface or
defect should be repaired & filled with a suitable material. Any
crack should be cleaned & filled with crack-sealing material like
RIPSTAR 124. Over any repaired crack apply a 150 mm wide
thin layer of MR. DRY 803 & place lightweight fibrous mesh tape
over the crack. Allow it to dry & apply a second coat.
Priming:
The best practice is to always apply a primer. For good sound
concrete surfaces, priming may not be required. Apply hot and
porous substrates with a primer prepared by diluting MR. DRY
803 with potable water in 1:1 to 1:2 proportion. Allow the applied
surface to absorb the primer and dry prior application of MR.
DRY 803.
Application:
Stir the contents before application to maintain the
homogeneity of the product. MR. DRY 803 can be applied by
brush, roller, or airless spray equipment. For vertical
applications, ensure that there is no material sag. This can best
be achieved by multiple coat applications at lesser thickness,
The second coat should be applied at right angles to the first.
All applications should be continued up verticals to the existing
damp-proof course. Ensure that the membrane is not
punctured or damaged during subsequent applications. Where
MR. DRY 803 is to receive a screed, two coats should be
applied. The second coat should be blinded with clean, dry
sharp sand immediately after application. The excess sand
should be brushed off when the coating has dried.
Storage and Shelf life All:
MR. DRY 803 must be stored where the temperature does not
drop below +5°C. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight, and
protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is 12 months
when stored as above

As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use
and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin, and
foodstuffs (which can also be tainted with vapor until the
product fully cured or dried). Treat splashes to eyes and skin
immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical
attention. Keep away from children and animals. Reseal
containers after use. Do not reuse containers for the storage
of consumable items.
