Eligibility:
➢ The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the
candidates in the Telangana EAPCET-2024 [Including Self-Financing seats in B.Sc. (Hons.)
Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Tech. (Food Technology) and B.Sc. (Hons.)
Horticulture courses] conducted by the Telangana Council for Higher Education.
➢ In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the Telangana State EAPCET-2024,
the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination (Intermediate or its
equivalent) shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate shall be
taken into consideration and the older candidate shall be given preference.
Age:
➢ The candidates for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course shall be required to have completed 17 years
of age with an upper age limit of 25 years for all the candidates, 30 years in respect of BC, SC and ST
candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.
➢ The candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science,
B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture and B.F.Sc. courses shall be required to have
completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates, 25 years in respect
of SC and ST candidates; and 27 years for Physically Challenged candidates as on 31st December of
the year of admission.
Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum Rural Area
(Farmers’ Quota) in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (Regular & Self-Financing), B.Sc. (Hons.)
Horticulture (Regular & Self-Financing), B.Tech. (Food Technology) (Regular & Self-Financing),
B.V.Sc. & A.H. & B.F.Sc. courses:
➢ Forty per cent (40%) of the seats in the PJTSAU & SKLTSHU and 25% in PVNRTVU are
reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than ONE
acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidate and who have
studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of
study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate.
➢ If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations is not
acceptable under farmer quota.
➢ ANNEXURE-I: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with his office
seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located in Non-
Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-
Municipal Area Certificate).
➢ ANNEXURE-II: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the
candidate / parents duly certified by the Tahsildar with his office seal (or) the candidate has to
upload attested photocopies of pattadar pass book as evidence of the extent of agricultural land.
➢ ANNEXURE-I and ANNEXURE-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials
viz., concerned Head of Institution and Tahsildar, respectively, along with office seal. Otherwise,
the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.

Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from Rural Area (Rural Quota) in B.Sc. (Hons.)
Community Science (Regular& Self-Financing) course:
● Forty per cent (40%) of the seats are reserved for candidates who have studied for a minimum
of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.
● ANNEXURE -I: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with his office
seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located in Non-
Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-
Municipal Area Certificate) (ANNEXURE – I).
● ANNEXURE -I need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials viz., concerned
Head of Institution respectively, along with office seal. Otherwise, the claim of the candidates
under this category will be summarily rejected.
Residential Certificate:
➢ Applicants who have gap/break in the years of study for reasons other than failure or those who passed
the qualifying examination by private study have to submit this certificate issued by the Tahsildar. In
case, the applicant has resided in more than one place, separate certificate from the Tahsildar, should
be furnished for such places of residence.
Reservation of Seats:
The rule of reservation (OC:46%, EWS;10%, BC-A:7%, BC-B;10%, BC-C:1%, BC-D:7%,
BC-E:4%, SC:15%, ST:10%) will be followed as per the rules (The rule of reservation in respect of EWS
will be followed as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time).
Note:
B. V. Sc. & A. H. course
In total intake of B.V.Sc. & A.H. course, 5% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged /Handicapped
quota.
Candidates with following disabilities will not be admitted as per VCI (Veterinary Council of India)
norms:
1. Disability of total body including disability of chest or spine more than 50%.
2. Disability of lower limb of more than 50%.
3. Disability of upper limb.
4. Visually Handicapped Candidates and those with hearing disability.
5. Candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.,
6. Disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a veterinarian.
a. Form I For the International Championships (Medal & Participation) issued by the Federation
b. Form II For Association National competitions (National/South Zone Medals/Participation and
State Medals issued by the State Association
c. Form III For the Universities Championships (Inter collegiate, South Zone University, All India
/ World Universities issued by the Universities)
d. Form IV For SGF, Central Government schemes, for all remaining events like World/Asian
school games, National / State level / Inter District games issued by the DEO /
DYSO/Secy.SGF/ SATS official
The scrutiny of sports applications along with Form I, II, III & IV (as applicable) will be done by
the competent authority and subsequently by an Evaluation committee for finalizing the priorities for
allotment of the seats.
Allocation of seats:
➢ Out of total, 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% of seats are Un-Reserved.
Note: The guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed
scrupulously including the reservations for 15% of seats under Un-Reserved quota.
Hostel facility:
➢ Hostel facility shall be provided subject to the availability of accommodation in the respective
colleges.

• The rules and regulations with regard to eligibility, age, reservations etc., are the same for the Self-
financing quota that are applicable to the candidates admitted under general quota.
• The candidates selected under self-financing quota will be treated on par with regular students. No special
amenities or facilities will be provided.
• The Self-Financing seats in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Tech.
(Food Technology) and B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture will be filled by separate counselling after filling
up of regular seats.
• The unfilled seats under self-financing quota will not be filled up from any other stream and will be kept
vacant.
• The candidates admitted under this quota are not eligible for any reimbursement of fee or
educational concessions offered by the Government.
NOTE:
➢ The guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed
scrupulously including the reservations for EWS.
➢ Required documents for candidates seeking admission under Rural/Farmers’ quota for the AY 2024-25
