REFLECTION PAPER

I recently had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the practical application of the
knowledge I have received during my academic path as part of an On-the-Job Training
(OJT) program. After completing 486 hours of training at Next Home Realty, I set off on a
journey of personal growth, obstacles, and priceless insights that profoundly impacted
my outlook on both my chosen career and my own development. I was excited to put
my theoretical knowledge to use right away, but I soon came to the conclusion that
there was a lot more to learn outside of the classroom. taking on the duties and
initiatives that I have been given. The chance to hone and improve my skills was one of
the most satisfying parts of my OJT experience. I discovered that I was continuously
forced to adjust and pick up new skills, from learning how to use software to improving
my problem-solving and communication skills. Working with seasoned professionals
also gave me access to priceless mentorship and advice, which sped up my learning
curve and gave me insights that textbooks alone could not have taught me. It wasn't
without its challenges, though. There were times when I felt frustrated and self-
conscious because I had to deal with duties that were impossible or I had made mistakes
that I thought would prevent me from moving forward. But it was because of these
difficulties that I really developed. I gained knowledge on how to accept setbacks as
stepping stones to success, look for criticism as a chance to get better, and endure
hardship. In addition, my OJT experience promoted personal development and self-
discovery by going beyond the domain of technical skills. I developed deep relationships
with my coworkers and benefited from their varied viewpoints and experiences. In
addition to improving my training experience, these connections gave me a solid
support system for when I start my next professional venture. Looking ahead, my OJT
experience has validated my future goals and reaffirmed my interest for information
technology. It has given me the information, abilities, and self-assurance to face the
difficulties ahead and has given me a lifetime dedication to lifelong study and
professional growth. To sum up, my experience as an OJT has been life-changing and
has had a lasting impact on both my professional and personal development. I am
excited for the trip ahead and full of appreciation for the opportunity I have been given
as I think back on the lessons I've learned and the memories I've made.
