What if I do not have any skills

First of all, we all have some kind of skills just

through life experience, chances are you haven't
identified them. Please go through the module 1
and take your time, it will help you understand
your skills better.

But you really think you have absolutely no skills,

I would recommend you to start with content
writing, all you have to do is research and put
that in your own words. Make sure to go through
the content writing masterclass.

If you are not interested in writing you can go

with SMM.

There are a lot of courses provided inside the

course regarding various skills you can go

How to manage time for freelancing along

with studies and your job?

There is a live Q/A on Time Management that you will get

under the Live Q/A session, Highly recommend you watch
that. Apart from that here’s what you can do-

Block time for Freelancing daily or 4-5x a week, it can be one

hour, two hour or even half an hour - whatever suits you.
Break down that time into smaller units and assign small
actionable tasks. For example- Suppose you have 1 hour in
hand - in that one hour you can create content in the first 30
minutes, post that content in the next 5 minutes, connect
with 10 people in the next 10 minutes, send 5 cold emails in
the next 15 minutes.
You can also block days in a week for each task. For example-
you can keep weekends for freelancing and other days for
studying or for your job.
In the case of client work, you can use the time blocking
technique.

“If it’s important to you, you will take time out for it anyhow.”

Is it necessary to use your personal details on

Social Media?

Yes, it is. Imagine someone approaching you to

buy their products who has no proper dp, no
proper details on their profile, what would be
your first reaction? Obviously, you would
consider them as a scammer isn’t it? The same
goes with your clients, no matter how much
they are in need of your services if you
approach them without optimizing your profile
properly, why would anyone trust you? So, Yes!
It’s is very important to have a properly
optimized profile along with your picture and
email ID.
And in the case in the beginning, for some
reason you can’t put up your own picture at all,
then you can put up a nice professional logo.

How to create a social presence if your

company has a problem with it?

If you are working under a company or have a

Job and they have a condition that you can’t
provide individual services or can’t work with
anyone else, then, in that case, you can either
talk to your higher authority and take
permission or you can use a different name and
logo in place of a profile picture for the first
few months. But make sure that you are
communicating this with your clients properly
and being honest with them regarding why you
changed your name and put up a logo- albeit
contextually.

Do you need to create a new account or you

can continue with your old account?

For Facebook, you can start with your old

account by optimizing it and then can eventually
shift to the new account while creating it
alongside, because Facebook limits activity and if
you do a lot of things in your brand new account
then FB might block it. And in case of LinkedIn
and Instagram, creating a new account.

Do you need to create different accounts if

you have chosen more than one niche?

You don’t need to create different accounts as

your target clients may get confused about what
your actual niche is and what you actually do. So,
it’s recommended that you stick to one profile
unless both the niches are completely different
like Business coaching and Content Writing. Stay
on one niche and whenever you are planning to
provide services on more than one niche, you can
talk about it in your existing profile, package it
with your existing service. For example: If you
are a graphic designer, planning to provide
branding services, then package your services
and market your new service in your profile.

How to search for competitors’ and target

clients’ profiles?

To search your competitors’ profiles - use the

keywords of your niche. For example: if you are
a Content writer then search with keywords-
‘Content writer’, ‘Freelance Content writer’.
Similarly, to search your Target Client’s profile,
you need to use the keyword of their industry.
For example: If you are a Social Media Marketer
and you want to work with service-based
businesses like coaches, consultants, mentors,
etc, then search with the keyword ‘Coach’
‘Consultant’.

How to do competitor research?

Think of competitor research more like stalking your crush -

just like you would not want your crush to get creeped out
while stalking them, make sure you don’t creep out your
competitors as well. While doing competitor research make
sure you consider these things-

What your competitors are posting?

Which posts of them are getting more engagement?
With which posts your target audience is engaging moe?
Whose posts are your competitors following and engaging
with?
What type of tone is your target audience using while
communicating?
What type of questions are they asking in the comment
section?
Which type of account are they following and engaging with?
What type of Hashtags are your competitors and target
audience using?

And many more- you will get more details on Module 1- Bonus
video.

How to Connect with people on LinkedIn as a

beginner?

If you are starting a new account then probably

you are not able to send connection requests or
build connections on LinkedIn due to search
restrictions. In that case, you can create your
account, optimize it and send the link on the
F101 Fb group and ask your peers to connect
with you there. After 4-5 days, after getting
some connections, start engaging with them
and LinkedIn will start recommending you
other well-performing posts as well- get their
profile and see if their target audience match
yours, if it does then start connecting with
them.

Is it okay to choose more than one niche right

in the beginning?

In the beginning, we would recommend you to

start with any one niche and learn, acquire and
implement the skills related to that one niche
first. Try to find clients in that niche, provide
services and explore that niche for at least 3
months, before changing or jumping into
another niche or service.

What type of content to create to attract

clients?

After you choose which platform you want to

majorly use, identify what is the most dominant
content type on the platform. For example- Reels
work very well on Instagram, but if you are not
comfortable with videos you can create simple
graphic content using canva. Written form
content works better on Linkedin and so on;

Now when it comes to content ideas, you have to

think about what are the major pain points of
your ideal clients/ what solutions are they
looking for/what are the problems no one is
addressing - create content around those topics.
These will attract your ideal audience and give
you inbound leads.

What to do when you get confused between

choosing two niches?

If you are confused between two niches, for

example- Copywriting and Content Writing, then
choose the niche which is comparatively easy to
start with and in which you have a Lil bit of
expertise than the other. You can always learn
the skills for the other niche alongside and add it
in your package later on, but to just start- focus
on the niche which you think can be
comparatively easier for you.

What to do when your prospects ghost you?

There will be many instances when your prospects might ghost

you and might leave you on seen, and at that moment you will
start doubting yourself. But trust us, there is nothing wrong with
you, maybe there is something wrong in the process that you
are applying, you can troubleshoot it and get over the problem.
Here are some things you can do if your prospects ghost you-

Check whether in your pitch you forced them to buy or not.

Check whether you tried making a two-way conversation from
the beginning or not
Check whether you pitched your price even without knowing
about their budget
Check whether you pitched your services without even knowing
their requirements.
Check whether you customized your services or not.
Don’t forget to send follow-ups to your prospects- you will get
Follow-Up templates in the Sales Masterclass.

Remember that the conversion rate will be slow that is if you

text 10 people, only 4-5 will reply, and probably 1 will get on a
call. So, hold your patience, keep troubleshooting and
experimenting with your templates

What if my client is unhappy/asks for refund/?

In service-based industries, people do not

usually provide refunds. Ofcourse it is your
personal choice if you want to provide refund,
but it's not recommended. Because in service-
based industries the results are not completely
in your control, there are many factors in
business that contribute to the results. So do
not offer any money-back guarantee to the
client while onboarding them.

What you can provide a refund is on things

that are actually in your control. Suppose, you
promised to deliver 10 emails to your client in
a month and for some reason, you were
unable to do so, in that case definitely you can
provide them a refund.

What if the client refuses to pay you?

First of all, always have a contract in place

signed by both parties and try to charge a
percentage of the price in advance. , If they
already pay you an advance they are most
likely not to ghost you after work.

But for some reason, if they delay the

payment, make sure to follow up with them
consistently reminding them about the
payment. If they deny your charges or ghost
you, call them out on Social media, Facebook
groups with your proofs (ex- contracts,
conversation screenshots etc).
