MIN 01/04/2024 – PRAYER

The opening prayer was conducted by Madam Pauline Okuku.

MIN 02/04/2024 INTRODUCTION

The members present introduced themselves for familiarization.

MIN 03/04/2024 – READING AND CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

The minutes of previous minutes was read by teacher in charge- Madam Martha Ouma. It was
confirmed by Mr. Samuel Ayieko Parent representative PP1 and seconded by Cellestine
Adhiambo.
MIN 04/04/2024 – MATTERS ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING

The teacher in charge confirmed to the B.O.M that the change of bank signatories was done as
agreed in the previous meeting. The current signatories are

1. Everlyn Wambani- Headteacher


2. Martha Ouma- Teacher in charge
3. Sellestine Adhiambo- Chairperson B.O.M

The teacher in charge also confirmed that the feeding programme was well embraced in term two
and well implemented.

She thanked the B.O.M for helping the county by parents’ provision of snack and beans.

The village admin Mr. Julius Osaleh encouraged the B.O.M to help the county government to
sustain the programme by encouraging the parents to participate fully in E.C.D.E programmes.

MIN 05/04/2024 – HEADTECHER REMARKS

The head teacher thanked the B.O.M for their attendance despite a short notice.

She also thanked the B.O.M for their full participation in running of the E.C.D.E programmes
e.g. feeding programme

She advised B.O.M to ensure parents take care of the learners while they are at home.

She assured the B.O.M that up to now the school has not received any case of danger in or within
the school, or even any bad report about the learners.

She told the B.O.M that the feeding programme picked up well and the teachers are doing their
best for the betterment of the learner.

MIN 06/04/2024 – SAFETY STATUS OF THE SCHOOL

The members present inspected the school compound, toilets, kitchen, water source, field ,
classes and finally the perimeter.

They confirmed that the school was safe and secure for the learners to resume their normal
learning programmes.

All the infrastructure was good and in place with no hazardous places in the compound

They agreed that immediately the government announces the opening date learning will resume
normally.
MIN 07/04/2024 – WAY FORWARD

The members agreed to ensure that the safety of the learners is well observed to avoid disease
related to cold and dirt.

They promised to provide clean water by maintaining and keeping the water source clean.

They agreed that the learners pit latrines to be kept clean and inspected regularly.

They agreed to advise parents not to expose learners to cold by keeping them warm with school
sweaters and jumpers.

For those learners who cross the bridge to be escorted by their parents to school.

MIN 08/04/2024 – A.O.B

There being no any other business the meeting was adjourned at 12:02pm with a word of prayer
from Madam Pauline Okuku
