AIM

Be the first to capture all your opponent’s dice

THE GAME BOARD
THE GAME SETUP
Place the die here
for battle Player 2 places his
Player 1 places his
dies in increasing dies in increasing
order order
Step by Step
 To start the game, the numbers on the top of the die for player 1 is
compared against player 2 starting from the smallest to biggest.
 Player with lowest number on the die starts first and he is given a
penalty chip.

2 3 4 8 9 15 Player 1

4 8 6 10 12 20 Sides of Dice

2 4 4 4 6 11 Player 2

Player 1 starts first

Step by Step
 The objective of the game is to capture your opponents die by attacks. You
can only capture one die on each turn and captured die/dice cannot be used
again by either player.
 There are two ways to capture your opponents die:
• Strength Attack • Mind Attack
Strength Attack
• One die against one die
• The number on your die is greater than or equal to your opponent’s die
that you are capturing

2 3 4 8 9 15 Player 1

4 8 6 10 12 20 Sides of Dice

2 4 4 4 6 11 Player 2

Which die can player 1 use to capture by Strength Attack?

Mind Attack
• Two or more dice against one die
1. Use any combination of your dice. More than 2 allowed.
2. Use any of the 4 mathematical operations (+, - , x, ÷ ) to get the exact sum
shown on your opponent’s die your are capturing
3. Time allocated for a move is different for different divisions.
Step by Step
• The die(dice) used to capture must be re-rolled.

• Thus if you used a combination of 6 and 5 dies (for example 6+5) to attack
your opponents die with 11 on it, you have to roll both the dies (6 and 5)
after capturing the opponent.
Step by Step
• If you cannot attack your opponent, you lose your turn

Player 1’s turn, but he cannot

attack as he does not have a
strength or mind attack
5 4 Player 1

6 8 Sides of Dice Then it is player 2’s turn

6 6 Player 2
Step by Step
• During the final attack (last die to be captured), if you started the game, you
MUST have a larger number than your opponent.
• This rule is added to equalize the gameplay

 Player 1’s turn (he had started

6 Player 1
the game) and he cannot
capture player 2 as his die is
6 Sides of Dice same as player 1’s

6  Player 2’s turn to attack

Player 2
8 Sides of Dice  Attack with a Strength Attack
Winning Strategies

 Biggest-Sided Dice First

– Capture your opponent’s biggest-sided dice first
 Attack Defensively
– Pre-empt your opponents move
 Power Up
– Use your math super power to win mathematically – meaning to
use your below average die/dice to attack
Math Warriors Challenge

• Now it’s your turn to challenge your opponents

• Play up to 3 matches and game winner is the one who either
wins 2-0,2-1
• 12 minutes to play a game
Note

• Remember this game has 80% skill factor and 20% chance
• Once you master your mental math, fractions, percentages and apply
winning strategies, you have a high chance of winning
• Against a skilled opponent, you may lose but all of you have won as
