2. Plans
The committee held its first meeting on 16th June 2024 and discussed on the annual plans
and budget for the academic year 2024 – 2025.
a) The committee proposed to continue the “Music classes” for interested students in
order to help develop good musicians and also to raise funds for the committee’s
projects for the academic year 2024 – 2025. In addition to the previous year’s classes
(Vocal, Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drum), the committee proposed to
introduce Sight Singing and Music Theory classes.

b) The committee proposed to organize class wise competition on “Hymn

Rearrangement”. Each class will be given a particular genre to work on. This will be
done in collaboration with the Drama Committee and Literary Committee during the
Literary, Drama & Music Week under the Theme – “Mosaic: Celebrating Colors of
Life”. Students taking part in other literary events will be allowed to participate in this
event without any limitation.

c) In view of the impending “Students’ Golden Jubilee” which is to be held in the year
2025 and the construction of the “College Auditorium” the committee felt the need to
contribute new sound gears, for which the proposal was forwarded for a fund drive. It
is to be carried out by organizing a “Gospel Concert” under the theme “Incense”.

• The event is to be hosted on the evening of 26th October 2024, a non – working
Saturday, at CTC, Multi Court.
• Tickets will be made available in two categories:
a) Admit one - ₹ 200 × 800 tickets
(40 booklets = 20 tickets per booklet)
b) Admit three - ₹ 500 × 100 tickets
(10 booklets = 10 tickets per booklet)
• Tickets will be sold with the help of the students in and around Mokokchung.
• CTC students will be given free access to the concert. Tickets will be sold only
to the outsiders and the faculty and staff members.
• Banners and flyers will be put up in town areas with proper permission from
the district administration.
