Worked in 1 acre farm near Chintamani for a period of 6 months. During this tenure
used 0.5 acre to do IPDM practices and another 0.5 acre to do control plot using cabbage crop.

Activities Performed:

 M.Sc. Thesis Title : Molecular Characterization of chilli leaf curl virus infecting chilli and
prediction of its coat protein structure

OBJECTIVE:
Biological transmission of chilli leaf curl virus to chilli and nicotiana species and
complete genome amplification, sequence analysis, phylogenetic analysis of chilli leaf curl guntur
isolate and insilico prediction of its coat protein structure.

Activities performed :
1. Worked as JRF for about a year.
2. Handling of all lab equipment including PCR, Autoclave etc…
3. preparation of culture media, broths and culturing, sub- culturing, isolation and purification of
fungal and bacterial colonies.
4. performing of greenhouse work and worked on IPDM of cole and cucurbits crops , tomato, chilli
etc…
5. worked on symptomatology and control of tomato leaf curl virus and chilli leaf curl virus.
6. Disease epidemiology and surveillance of major crops.
