a stable or

5. If you produce an animal inside of the pasture with a Fruit Tree tile
& it has a Fruit on it; your animals consume 1 fruit and produce
twins this harvest. (You cannot rearrange your animals to produce
multiple twins from the same Fruit Tree tile).

Additional Rules:
 At any time, you may cut down your “Fruit Tree”
o Return the Fruit Tree tile to the supply
o All wood & fruit tokens are added to the player’s supply.

o Converts 1 Fruit to 4 Food during bake action.
o Converts 2 Fruit to 9 Food during bake action.

Fruit Trees
Variants
Variant #1 – No Grow Phase
 During the Field Phase the wood is added to the tile, not during the Grow /
Breeding Phase.
o (This would allow a player to chop a Fruit Tree down and use for Fuel
when playing Farmer and the Moor).
o This would also allow wood to be used with improvements like
Joinery.
 2 Fruit tokens are added to a Fruit Tree that has 2 or more wood on it.

Variant #2 – Green Apples

 When you take 1 seed from the supply you take a Green apple.
 During harvest when your tree produces a Fruit, you produce a Red apple.
o Green apples always bake for the same amount as Grain
o Red apples bake for 1 more food than Grain.

Variant #3 – Bad Apples

 Place 24 Green Apples, 18 Red Apples & 8 Black Apples into the bag.
o If a Black apple (Fruit) is drawn out of the bag it is Spoiled,
 If the Spoiled Fruit was a seed, it spoils all seeds in a player’s
supply. (If this rule is too powerful, the player’s Meeple is
returned to their house, and it is the next players turn. Thus,
giving this player their turn back; they will just have to wait till
play goes around the board, possibly costing them the chance
to take a Fruit seed.)
 If the spoiled Fruit was to be placed on a Fruit Tree tile, it
spoils all the Fruit on that one tile. (Wood is still collected as
normal),
 After the spoiled Fruit spoils the batch, the spoiled fruit
is removed from the game.
 After a red or green token has been used, it is returned
to the main supply (Random Bag).
o Green apples always bake for the same amount as Grain
o Red apples bake for 1 more food than Grain.
