METHODOLOGY

*Research Design

The researcher used the experimental and descriptive research method. The applicability of descriptive
method was used to employ a questionnaire checklist in conducting a study.

*Respondents of the study and Sampling

The target population for these studies were the residents of Barangay Gen. T. De Leon,
Valenzuela City. There are fifty (50) respondents required to participate in this study to come up with a
result.

The researchers used the Convenience Sampling technique also known as accidental sampling, a
sampling method that obtained by selecting “convenient” population units.

CONCLUSION

1.Most of the respondents are 11-20 years old and the number of male are more than female.

2. The level of acceptability of the Ice Cream Made from Pureed Squash and Potato is highly acceptable
as perceived by the respondents.

3.There is a difference in the level of acceptability in Ice Cream made from Pureed Squash and Potato as
perceived by the respondents when demographic profile is considered. But the difference is not
significant. This means that the perception of the respondents does not differ significantly.

1.) What is the implication of your study?

Answer; When the computed value is less than tabular value, accept the null hypothesis.

0.05 percent tapos sinagot namin, kasi there is 95 percent probability that the null is accept , kasi yung
5 percent for error. Merong pagkakaiba pero not significant.

2.) Why you choose your title in the study?

Answer: The researchers choose this title to highlight the product itself, the main ingredients and the
process of making the product.
2.) Why do you conduct the study, for what?

Answer: The researchers conducted this study to determine how acceptable the alternative and
healthier ice cream that uses vegetables as the main ingredients based on the perspectives of the
respondents.

3.) Why do you choose 4 liker scale?

Answer: The researchers used a 4-Likert Scale, so that it can easily determine if the product is
acceptable or not. Because it 4-Likert scaler, there is no “neutral” or middle result. They aim is to
determine whether the product is acceptable or not.

4.) What is the importance of your study?

Answer: The importance of this study is that it will benefit not only the person who do not used to it
vegetables but also the food industries to come up with an idea on how to improve Ice Cream products
on using an organic ingredient instead of using the preservatives. It will also help the future researchers
to improve or create a product that is related in the Ice Cream made from Pureed Squash and Potato.

5.) What is the background of your study?

Answer: In this experimental study, the researchers will use two different kinds of vegetable as a main
ingredient to make our Ice Cream made from Pureed Squash and Potato which our product. The first
vegetable is potato; Potatoes are rich in compounds like flavonoid, carotenoids and phenolic acids and
second main ingredients are squash, the many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants found in squash
provide several health benefits.

The researchers formulate the statement of the problem by thinking of the demographic profile first,
such as gender and age which is more convenient by any other demographic profiles such as occupation.
The researchers also think of the characteristics of an ice cream such as appearance, taste and texture.

Answers: Passers by along Gen. T. De Leon Road, particularly 11-60 years old.
