RESOLUTION: 2023 – 006

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2024 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM (ABYIP)
OF BARANGAY DAANBANWA, MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBUNAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states the “the State
recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral,
spiritual, intellectual and social; well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and nationalism and
encourage their involvement in public and civil affairs.”);

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the
Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states that “In
consultation and with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, and within three (3) months form
the assumption of office, formulate a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be known as the
Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan, which shall serve as basis in preparation of the
Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program”;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan, with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of
Barangay Daanbanwa drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for
2024;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Daanbanwa has prepared the 2024 Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Program in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Investment Plan;

NOW, THEREFORE, in motion of Hon. Ronmil C. Dayaday and duly seconded by Hon. Jelo A.
Luceño, be it;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN, to pass a
resolution approving the 2024 Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program of Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Daanbanwa, Municipality of Lambunao, Province of Iloilo;
BE RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to concerned entities for their
reference;
Approved this 18th day of December 2023, at Barangay Daanbanwa, Lambunao, Iloilo.

RESOLUTION: 2023 – 007

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 2024 OF BARANGAY DAANBANWA, MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBUNAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO AMOUNTING
TO TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE PESOS AND
SEVENTY SIX CENTAVOS (PHP 2,568,883.76)

WHEREAS, In accordance with Section 20 (a) of the SK Reform Act of 2015 (Republic Act No.
10742), ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK. The
Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the SK funds in lump sum, which shall be disbursed solely for
youth development and empowerment purposes;

WHEREAS, Section 20 (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall have financial
independence in its operations, disbursements, and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures;
WHEREAS, the SK Annual Budget, which is the financial plan embodying the estimates of
income and expenditures of the SK for one (1) fiscal hear, shall be prepared in accordance with the
approved Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP);
WHEREAS, the SK Chairperson, with the assistance of the SK Treasurer, has prepared the SK
Annual Budget for FY 2024 amounting to “TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT
HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE PESOS AND SEVENTY SIX CENTAVOS (PHP 2,568,883.76) ” in accordance with the
approved ABYIP ;

NOW, THEREFORE, in motion of Hon. Ronmil C. Dayaday and duly seconded by Hon. Jelo A.
Luceño, be it;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN, to pass a
resolution approving the 2024 Annual Budget of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Daanbanwa,
Municipality of Lambunao, Province of Iloilo;
BE RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to concerned entities for their
reference;
