PPR report

A PPR or Preliminary Project Report, plays a vital role in mitigating risks and ensuring a project's success in
construction. Here's a breakdown of its function:

1. The PPR report includes a thorough examination and evaluation of the plans, budgets, and project
documentation. This thorough evaluation assists in identifying possible issues, omissions, or
mistakes that can later cause delays, cost overruns, or even legal conflicts.
2. Through the early identification of these possible obstacles it helps to decide on the project's
feasibility and associated hazards with knowledge before any work is done.
3. The project's budget and schedule are optimized with the use of a PPR report. Before construction
starts, the report's identification of potential overruns in costs or unrealistic schedules enables cost-
saving and course-correction measures to be put in place.
