effectiveness of the
earthquake drill, Upper
Sibul ES will introduce an
enhanced briefing and
training approach. Before
the drill, all participants will
attend a comprehensive
briefing conducted by the
school's Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management
(DRRM) Coordinator. This
briefing will cover essential
topics such as earthquake
preparedness fundamentals,
identification of safe zones,
and the step-by-step
evacuation procedures.
Furthermore, participants,
including learners, teachers,
and staff members, will
receive in-depth education

on the proper execution of
the "Drop, Cover, and Hold
On" technique during the
drill.

DURING:

At the designated date and

time, the earthquake drill is
initiated through a
simulated announcement,
effectively mirroring a
genuine emergency
scenario. This approach
aims to immerse
participants in a lifelike
experience, thoroughly
testing their responsiveness
and preparedness.
Participants demonstrate
swift and precise execution
of the prescribed actions,
highlighting their
preparedness. They adeptly
follow the designated
protocol by quickly dropping
to the ground, seeking
refuge under sturdy desks
or tables, and steadfastly

holding on until the
simulated tremors cease.
This immediate response
underscores the efficacy of
the training received and
the commitment to safety
measures.
With the simulated tremors
subsiding, a seamless
transition to the evacuation
phase is initiated. Teachers
efficiently lead their
respective classes toward
the pre-established safe
zones using pre-determined
evacuation routes. This
well-coordinated effort
further exemplifies the value
of meticulous planning and
the school community's
collective commitment to
safety.

AFTER:

Following the drill, a

debriefing session is being
conducted to gather
feedback from participants.

This feedback holds
immense value in
pinpointing strengths and
potential areas for
enhancement within the
emergency response plan.

During this session,

participants share their
observations, insights, and
suggestions, offering a
holistic view of the drill's
execution. This collaborative
input aids in refining
strategies and ensuring that
future drills yield even more
effective outcomes.

The committee assesses

various aspects of the drill's
execution, including overall
response time,
communication system
efficiency, and coordination
among different units. This
meticulous evaluation
allows for the identification
of operational strengths and
areas that may benefit from
