Dear Dr. Muldrew:
A telegraph copy of your letter of 21/2/86
arrived yesterday. You may, or may not have received my reply
dated 10/3/86. On 6/3/86 I wrote to Larkin Kerwin about NRC
acting »6 sponsor. No reply. Probably you can give me title
of "visiting scientist", Guest investigator", or something
similar. I've packed ond will bring with me the epecial signal
generator for broadbonding the antennas. No problems are seen.
I've done this many times before, quote on crane hire is OK.
I'm bringing 2 sample tuner box as model; also ny own grid dip
meter modified for this kind of job, plus assorted coile, tools,
ete. I plan to arrive Ottawa before noon on 30/4/86. Exact
flite details still unknown. I'm beginning to feel considerable
urgency on this undertaking. Everything must be in operating
order by October to take advantage of winter nites, Winter of
86/7 is near solar activity minimum, the best time for several
years, I plan to stoy ond take all data myself during winter.
Please have your secretary contact sone realestate firms
and try to locate furnished apartments ronted by month, A place
near Ashton Site side of Ottave is most desirable. vhat do
furnishings consist of? Furniture, bed linen, towels, vote &
pans, china ware, cutlery, etc.? what will I need to purchase?

I do not have » home fone. My Hobart office is over 50 mi
away and I'm rarely there. I may t contacted by prior arrange-
ment over fone at Bothwell Post Office. The number ts (002)

and 200 to 500p Bothwell time. Ne are 10 hrs ahead of CNT.
