What Is VMware Workstation?


The name VM in VMware stands for VIRTUAL MACHINE. It is a virtual machine software which allows users to set up multiple Virtual Operating Systems in single machine. And it provides the accessing of one or more of the Virtual Operating Systems Simultaneously with in the host operating system in a Shift window Strategy. In simple, VMware Workstation allows one physical machine to run multiple operating systems simultaneously VMware Workstation supports bridging technique, which allows the user to access network (internet), CD-ROM devices, external hard disk s, and USB devices directly without any extra connectivity. This creates a simple to use Environment for the user. With this Software we can save the average time, cost and memory space factors, which is a big factor for IT Industry now a day. This is very helpful for administrators to complete and manage their tasks quickly and effectively.

Step-by-Step Installation to VMware Workstation 7 Step

Screen Shot 1: By Selecting the Setup file the installation gets started and this is the First screen shot of loading the files

Screen Shot 2: Setup will open Welcome Screen Select next to continue the Screen, lect Installation process

Screen Shot 3: Click on Next button and choose typical option, where Typical Program Features will be installed

Screen Shot 4: Select appropriate address or path for destination folder to install Click on Next button and continue

Screen Shot 5: Give appropriate information username, password, and serial Number to continue the process and Click on enter button

Screen Shot 6: After getting installed the software will ask for the system restart select Restart button to cover the necessary changes

Screen Shot 7: After getting restarted the softwares basic home screen is show above ,from here we can install multiple virtual operating systems
