Manifesto explanation

House and School Captain Candidate,

Pradyot Sigdel

Leadership and participation:

With all my participation both inside the school and outside the school, and attending various events
have grown the quality of my leadership. I am sure I am capable of leading the school with
inspirement and being a role model.

Just like I've been participating in most of the extra curricular activities, I promise to keep
participating in them and believe that I would be of great help in organising them as well.

Encourage passion and exploration:

I believe every student is passionate about at least one thing. But many of them keep it to themselves
not wanting to explore. Our school already provides a platform to different passions, but it would be
our duty to encourage the students with vast potential to come forward to express, explore and
participate.

To encourage this, I would motivate the students to take small steps to take larger ones larger. Also
include a Recognize and reward method for students of any kind. Reward doesn't mean trophies and
other goods. It can be compliments, encouragement to do better and many more. This would develop
a sense of encouragement to do more.

Value and Embrace Ideas:

Ideas are different from passions. Unlike ideas people have a lot of ideas and ideas varis from people
and experiences, therefore valuing and embracing those ideas would be very important. It signifies a
feeling of taking part in the school activities even if it is a little. It not only values the students but also
helps the school itself in various aspects.

For this to be implemented, the suggestion box takes an important role. But that’s the school's role.
What I will do on my side is to take the ideas from the students and deliver it to the school
management and the facilitators so that it is valued. I believe I have a strong bond with all the students
from where I can acknowledge these ideas.

Inclusive Empowerment:
Inclusive Empowerment and valuing ideas go hand in hand. Firstly what I mean by inclusive
Empowerment means is valuing every student in the decision making of the school. I don't want
anyone to mistake decision making with the complex rules of the school. What I mean by decision
making is the small systems in class, dining hall, club, ECA activities that could be improved by
students' ideas.

Convince and collaborate with trust:

Collaboration is the core foundation on which any system is built. In this case convincing everyone to
collaborate and build trust among each other will benefit in organising events as well as resolving the
problems that may arise in any aspect of the school.

For this collaboration with the student council shall be made to evaluate the surrounding of the school.
