Total = Average x number
*** to find the missing one in the wordproblem, find total first , then
subtract the others from the total.

How many degrees in ¼ turn? 90° (1 right angle)

How many degrees in ½ turn? 180°(2 right angles)
How many degrees in ¾ turn? 270°(3 right angles)
How many degrees in 1 complete turn? 360° ( 4 right angles)

Area = count inside

Perimeter = count around
*** Fencing means perimeter
Shaded area = whole area – unshaded area
Area = Length x breadth
Length = Area ÷ Breadth
Breadth = Area ÷ Length

Perimeter = 2 x (Length + Breadth)

Length = (P ÷ 2) – Breadth
Breadth = (P÷ 2) – Length
Unit of Volume is cubic unit.
(Example: cm³, m³, ……)

Volume = Length x Breadth x Height

𝑉
Length =
𝐵×𝐻
𝑉
Breadth =
𝐿×𝐻
𝑉 𝑉
Height = or
𝐿 ×𝐵 𝐴𝑟𝑒𝑎

1 ml = 1cm³
(ml and cm³ are the same in volume. Milliliter is liquid volume
and cm³ is solid volume)

1L = 1000ml = 1000cm³

Capacity means volume.
