students of Grades IX - XII by highly experienced and

skilled ICS counsellors.

The Institute for Career Studies (ICS), a prestigious organisation

helmed by Dr. Amrita Dass, Founder Director and her team of career
counsellors offers a comprehensive platform to guide and mentor students
in their quest for the apt career choices in future. The objective of the
Career Counselling and Guidance Programme is to identify personality
strengths, aptitudes, talents and interests of students to facilitate informed
subject selection and career choices and create awareness about the latest
educational and career scenario, leading to a student’s Best-Fit Career for
a fulfilling and rewarding life.

Features of the comprehensive programme

ICS has designed fully automated and user friendly aptitude and interest
identification tests with a “unique algorithm”. This can be conducted as a
‘paper-pencil’ test too. The students are assessed on various parameters,
for ex. Logical, Social, Managerial, Design, Perceptual, Mechanical
Numerical aptitudes etc. as well as career interests.
The sessions in Apeejay School, Saltlake will be conducted in three phases
highlighted below.

PHASE 1
Interactive Seminar/Webinar and multimedia presentation (An
understanding of the latest educational and career trends)
• Addressing stereotypes and misconceptions
• Discussion on different subject combinations and their scope in today’s
context wherein most careers can be accessed from any subject
combination
• Inputs on subjects and their career links

INTERNAL
Link for payment for Phase 1 Career Counselling through MCB will be shared
with you. The cost for the same is Rs. 400.00.

PHASE 2
Holistic profiling of the students based on the following:
• Aptitude Identification Exercises
• Interest Inventory
• Multiple Intelligences
• Personality strengths
• Self-Introspective exercises
• School performance – academic and co-curricular

PHASE 3

● One on one Educational and Career Counselling session- This

is an empowering aspect of our programme in guiding students in
their decision making process regarding courses, campuses and
careers based on the holistic career identification tests.
● Interaction with parents on their crucial role in empowering their
children.
● Detailed report for each student: The report highlights the
aptitudes and interests as well as the recommended careers.
● Ongoing follow - up and value added services.
