Ans 1. A slide represents a page in a presentation.
Ans 2. If the current file is unsaved, PowerPoint displays a dialog box asking you to choose
whether or not to save your file.
Click Save, if you wish to save the file or Don’t Save, if you do not wish to save the file.
You can choose Cancel to return to your presentation without saving it.
Ans 3. A slide show is an electronic presentation displayed on computer software.
To view a slide show, follow the given steps :
Step-1 : Click Slide Show tab.
Step-2 : Click From Beginning from the Start Slide Show group.
You see your slides on full screen.
Ans 4. To insert a Picture from Clip Art on your slide, follow the given steps :
Step-1 : Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon.
Step-2 : Click Clip Art from the Images group. The Clip Art task pane appears on the
right hand side of the window.
Step-3 : Type the name of the picture you want to search in the Search for box. For
example, if you want to insert a picture of an animal, type ‘animal’ and click the
Go button. You get related pictures.
Step-4 : Click on the picture you want. The picture gets inserted on the slide.

Ans 1. To add text in a presentation, follow the given steps :
Step-1 : Click inside a placeholder to enter text. A cursor appears.
Step-2 : Type the text. After you finish typing the text, click outside the placeholder.

Step-1 : Click the FILE tab.
Step-2 : Click the Save option from the Backstage view.
Step-3 : Type the file name.
Step-4 : Click the Save button. PowerPoint automatically adds a period (.) and an
extension pptx to the file name.
