 High PCI = rich countries
 Low PCL = Low middle income countries

 Useful for comparison but hides
 Money cannot buy everything, health, Education,
Freedom & other values are also important

No. of children that die before the age of 1 year

year.

Proportion of literate population in 7
and above age group.

5. Net Attendance Ratio


Total no. of Children in the age group 14-15 years Attending school
