below).
• You
may
play
item

at
any
time
(unless
the
item
requires
a
specific
time
to
be
used)
• You
may
only
hold
up
to
3
items
in
your
inventory.
If
you
acquire
a
new
item,
you
may
replace
it
with
any
of
your
current
items
and
“Scrap”
the
one
you
don’t
want
by
putting
it
face
up
adjacent
to
the
item
card
deck
in
the
“scrap
pile”.
When
there
are
no
more
item
cards
in
the
item
deck,
shuffle
the
scrap
pile
and
put
it
face
down
as
your
new
item
card
deck.

Tile
Anatomy:
There
are
4
different
types
of
tiles
in
the
game
• Room
Tiles:
Regular
tiles
that
add
to
the
board
• Spawning
Points:
Where
enemies
spawn
out
of
• Cache
Rooms:
Where
you
may
search
for
items
• Server
Rooms:
Where
you
can
attempt
to
hack
into
the
computers
GAMEPLAY:
WIN
SCENARIO:
You
have
been
extracted
from
the
extraction
point
with
all
4
files,
and
have
the
most
“Style
Points”
in
the
game.
STYLE
POINTS:
You
earn
these
points
with
each
extra
file
you
acquire
over
the
4
required,
each
enemy
you
defeat,
each
player
you
knock
out,
and/or
each
“Synergy
Ability”
you
perform.
TURNS:
The
turn
order
begins
with
the
first
player,
then
cycling
through
each
player,
then
the
Shadow
Organization.
During
each
turn,
players
may
perform
up
to
2
actions
unless
otherwise
noted.
ACTIONS:
Each
player
has
2
Actions
they
can
perform
on
their
turn.
Here
are
the
options
(Note:
Actions
can
be
repeated.
So
for
example,
you
may
move
twice
to
exhaust
both
actions):
• Move
your
character
• Attack
a
character
• Search
a
Cache
• Hack
a
Computer
MOVEMENT:
When
a
player
moves
their
character,
they
will
flip
a
tile
face-‐up
from
the
tile
deck,
adjacent
to
the
free
(unobstructed)
location
they
are
on.
Keep
in
mind
that
there
is
significance
and
strategy
to
the
placement
of
the
tiles.
You
may
move
up
to
your
character’s
movement
value.
Different
tiles
will
appear
that
your
character
may
interact
with.
SEARCHING:
You
may
use
an
action
to
search
a
Cache
Room.
To
do
so,
roll
3
dice
in
an
attempt
to
match
the
symbol
required
on
the
tile.
If
you
succeed,
you
may
draw
1
Item
Card
from
the
Item
Deck.
If
you
roll
an
“eye”
icon,
an
enemy
minion
is
spawned
from
the
nearest
spawn
location
from
your
location
(if
there
are
two
spawn
locations
that
are
the
same
distance
to
you,
the
one
of
the
higher
level
is
spawned).
If
an
“eye”
icon
is
required
and
you
roll
a
“Wild”
icon,
you
will
succeed
in
the
search
without
spawning
an
enemy
minion.
HACKING:
You
may
use
an
action
to
hack
the
computers
in
the
server
room.
To
do
so,
roll
3
dice
in
an
attempt
to
match
the
symbols
required
on
the
tile.
If
you
partially
match
the
symbols,
you
may
“save”
the
ones
that
match.
If
you
save
your
dice,
only
the
remaining
dice
can
be
used
for
other
actions.
So
let’s
say
you
matched
2
of
the
3
symbols
and
someone
enters
the
room
and
attacks
you.
Because
you
still
want
to
save
the
2
matches
that
means
you
only
have
1
die
to
use
for
defending
and
attacking
(unless
otherwise
noted).
If
you
move
outside
of
the
server
room
for
any
reason,
you
automatically
return
your
saved
dice
back
to
your
dice
pool
as
they
are
no
longer
saved.
If
you
succeed
in
matching
the
symbols
required,
you
will
draw
a
card
from
the
Hack
Deck.
If
you
succeed
and
draw
a
“Download
Successful”
card,
you
gain
a
file
token
representing
the
number
of
the
room.
If
you
draw
an
“Intruder
Alert”
card,
a
penalty
written
on
the
card
will
take
place.
No
matter
what
card
you
draw,
the
card
will
be
placed
face-‐up,
adjacent
to
the
Hack
Deck
in
a
pile.
When
there
are
no
more
Hack
Cards
to
draw,
shuffle
all
the
face-‐up
Hack
Cards
and
put
them
face
down
as
your
new
Hack
Deck.
If
you
roll
an
“eye”
icon
any
time
during
your
roll,
an
enemy
minion
is
spawned
from
the
nearest
spawn
location
from
your
location
(if
there
are
two
spawn
locations
that
are
the
same
distance
to
you,
the
one
of
the
higher
level
is
spawned).
If
an
“eye”
icon
is
required
and
you
roll
a
“Wild”
icon,
you
will
succeed
in
the
search
without
spawning
an
enemy
minion.
COMBAT:
If
you
are
attacking
someone,
you
will
roll
3
dice
and
count
up
how
many
“Pistols”
or
“Wild”
icons
appear.
This
represents
how
many
of
your
attacks
were
initiated.
The
defending
player
will
roll
3
dice
and
count
up
how
many
“Shields”
or
“Wilds”
and
cancel
out
the
attacks.
Any
attacks
that
were
unblocked
(not
canceled
out)
signify
the
attack
was
successful,
no
matter
how
many
went
through.
If
your
attack
went
through,
the
defending
player
is
“stunned”
and
you
may
steal
any
one
of
their
files
from
their
inventory.
The
stunned
player
will
then
move
their
character
token
to
an
adjacent
tile
to
that
location
(signifying
they
escaped
after
defeat).
They
can
even
flip
over
a
new
tile
if
they
choose,
just
as
long
as
it’s
adjacent.
The
successful
attacking
player
also
receives
1
Style
Point
token.
If
your
attack
did
not
go
through,
this
ends
your
attack
action.
If
you
have
another
action
available,
you
may
attack
again
or
choose
to
move
away.
If
a
player
defends
and
gets
3
“Wild”
icons
or
3
“Pistol”
icons,
they
will
counter
attack
you,
giving
you
1
roll
for
defense
to
prevent
getting
attacked.
ITEM
CARDS
IN
COMBAT:
If
you
do
not
hold
any
items
in
your
inventory,
a
successful
attack
against
you
will
“stun”
you.
But,
if
you
have
items,
they
will
act
as
extra
defense.
For
example
if
you
have
2
items
in
your
inventory
and
a
minion
wins
in
a
combat
against
you,
you
would
destroy
one
of
your
items
(of
your
choice).
Rather
than
getting
“stunned”
and
moved
into
an
adjacent
room,
you
remain
in
the
same
room.
In
this
example,
since
you
have
1
more
item
left
in
your
inventory,
it
also
can
be
destroyed
to
prevent
being
stunned.
Although,
if
you
prefer
you
can
choose
to
be
stunned
to
preserve
your
items.
SHADOW
MINION
MOVEMENT:
When
all
players
finish
their
turns,
the
Shadow
Minions
begin
their
turn.
All
Shadow
Minions
will
move
the
full
amount
of
spaces
based
on
their
level
(Level
1
minions
move
1
space,
Level
2
minions
move
2
spaces,
etc).
They
will
always
move
towards
the
closest
player
and
every
minion
must
move
if
they
are
able
to.
If
multiple
players
are
of
equal
distance,
the
minion
will
move
to
the
room
with
the
highest
number.
Minions
can
not
move
through
or
on
the
Extraction
Point
Tile.
SHADOW
MINION
SPAWNING:
If
spawned,
a
new
Shadow
Minion
will
appear
on
their
respective
spawning
point.
Depending
on
the
situation,
multiple
minions
may
spawn
at
the
same
time
from
the
same
location
or
on
multiple
spawning
points.
There
are
4
spawning
points
in
the
game,
two
level
1
and
two
level
2.
SHADOW
MINION
COMBAT:
If
a
Shadow
Minion
enters
a
space
with
a
player
on
its
turn
or
if
it
is
on
a
tile
that
has
a
player
or
players
on
it
when
it
is
the
Shadow
Minion’s
turn,
it
will
automatically
initiate
combat
with
each
player
on
the
tile.
By
doing
so,
you
will
roll
the
corresponding
amount
of
dice
(Level
1
=
1
die,
Level
2
=
2
dice),
signifying
its
attack.
Only
“pistols”
represent
attacks.
If
a
minion
rolls
an
“eye”
icon
during
its
attack,
they
will
immediately
spawn
an
enemy
at
the
nearest
spawn
location,
representing
the
enemy
calling
for
reinforcements.
If
defending,
you
will
help
the
enemy
roll
the
corresponding
amount
of
dice
to
their
level.
The
“Shield”
icon
represents
defense
while
the
“Eye”
and
“Wild”
icon
will
immediately
spawn
an
enemy
at
the
nearest
spawn
location.
If
a
player
defeats
an
enemy,
that
player
receives
1
Style
Point
token.
THE
END
GAME
-‐
SOUNDING
THE
ALARM:
• When
all
of
the
tiles
have
been
uncovered
• When
a
player
acquires
1
of
each
of
the
4
files
During
this
time,
1
Minion
will
spawn
at
every
spawn
point.
At
the
end
of
the
Shadow
Minion’s
turn,
1
Minion
will
spawn
at
every
spawn
point.
At
this
point,
Minions
will
be
allowed
to
enter
the
Extraction
Point.
The
game
concludes
if:
• All
players
make
it
to
the
extraction
point
tile
• There
are
5
or
more
minions
on
the
extraction
point
tile
• If
players
are
stunned
consecutively
3
or
more
turns
SINGLE
PLAYER
RULES
For
the
most
part,
the
game
plays
the
same.
Here
are
the
differences:
• You
will
get
3
Actions
per
turn
• You
will
put
aside
the
Extraction
Point
Tile
and
instead
start
on
a
Level
1
Spawn
point
• When
you
have
all
4
files,
the
Alarm
will
sound
and
you
will
place
the
Extraction
Point
tile
adjacent
to
the
tile
furthest
from
your
location.
