भारतात मराठी भाषकांची एकू ण लोकसंख्या सुमारे १४ कोटी आहे. मराठी मातृभाषा
असणाऱ्या लोकांच्या संख्येनुसार मराठी ही जगातील दहावी व भारतातील तिसरी
भाषा आहे.

official language of the state of Goa. According to the 2011
census, the total population of Marathi speakers in India is
around 14 crore. Marathi is the tenth largest language in the
world and the third largest in India in terms of the number of
people whose mother tongue is Marathi.
