Description of Skill
(SCD) Sequential compression device is used in clients to prevent blood clots in the legs. They do this by
improving blood flow in their legs. These devices go on the lower portion of the legs. They inflate with air one side
at a time. It gives the leg a squeeze, it is to mimic walking. This is helpful in preventing blood clots.
