PERU AND ITS
CULTURAL DIVERSITY
Welcome to my personal travel blog, this time I want to tell you about the
north and center of Peru. We have several options, to Eten city - Chiclayo,
Trujillo, Pasco and Huánuco and I am going to give you some characteristics
of those places.
Eten city - Chiclayo

A place to visit in
northern Peru is Eten
City. The cost of the
ticket from Lima to
Chiclayo is between fifty
to one hundred and
twenty soles on holidays
and from Chiclayo to
Eten is five soles.
DIVINE CHILD OF THE MIRACLE
Eten is the third Eucharistic city
in the world, where there is the
fair of Divine Child of the Miracle.
It is celebrated in January and July,
there is a procession at the
beginning of the fair, there are also
northern and traditional marinera
competitions for children, youth
and adults, there are dance
competitions from various places
in Peru and other countries
There are typical foods, goat is the most expensive, it costs
twenty-five soles, rice with duck costs twenty soles and the
cheapest food costs fifteen soles and so on, many more meals
and activities to experience.
The park is between the church and a library - museum where you find
older things from Eten, the auditorium is next to the church and there is a
room for the garage.
There is a soccer field next to the games. Inside there are rooms for church
meetings, inside there are bathrooms, there is a kitchen and a dining room.
Many customs to live await you in Eten City.
trujillo
Another place that I visited to
the north is Trujillo which is
closer than Chiclayo, first we go
to the plaza norte Terrapuerto,
in Lima, where there are a
variety of companies and prices
to Trujillo, there are prices from
fifty to one hundred and fifty
soles. The trip lasts eight hours
and the Trujillo terraport is
located at Unnamed Road,
Trujillo 13008.
Beach Huanchaco
When we arrive we go
to the representative
areas of Trujillo such
as Huanchaco beach,
ride a reed horse and
there are rides for ten
soles.
Then we went to a
near restaurant and
each dish cost us
twenty-five soles.
In the afternoon we
headed to the Chan
Chan museum, the
entrance fee is ten
soles per person.
Plaza of Trujillo
Then we went to the parade
ground and took a lot of
photos with our smartphones.
As it got late we had to look
for accommodation near, the
night cost us fifty soles. In the
morning we return to Lima.
PASCO ARCH
There is also Pasco, traveling
to Pasco is another challenge,
as its arch says, it is the “land
of males and not of many”,
Pasco is located in the center
of the country, as a reference
near Huancayo.
To see its tourist places, there is the
great stone forest of Oxapampa, a
combination of jungle and
mountains, you must travel by bus
or car for eight hours.

OXAPAMPA
DANCE CHONGUINADA

Pasco is a mining capital

and they reflect it in the
clothing of their
chonguinada dancers, a
dance that is its national
heritage.
Every year one of its celebrations is to
organize the biggest party for “the lord of
exaltation”, located in the Paragsha chapel in
front of the large soccer sports area, just two
blocks to the right of the municipality and
three blocks from Paragsha Square.
A city of males and not many because the
altitude and lack of oxygen greatly affects the
people who are going to visit, hence its name.
The last place I visited was Huánuco,

HUANUCO located in the heart of Peru, it is next

to Ancash. Upon arriving, I used my
smartphone to locate the streets of
Huánuco. The directions took me to
a main square and inside there is an
architectural wonder, there is a
Cathedral of Huánuco.
As I tried their dishes like spicy guinea pig and Huánuco
cecina, I discovered that their cuisine offers a unique blend
of flavors that are more diverse and tastier than those in
other Peruvian cities. The use of fresh ingredients further
improved the gastronomic experience, due to its richness.
Its history is deeper, due to its understanding of culture.
The natural beauty of its surroundings makes it one of the
most picturesque destinations in the country.
As you can see there are many options
in the north and center of Peru, for
those who want Christian activities
they can go to Eten or Pasco because
they hold fairs there, those who like to
visit museums have Trujillo and for
those who want to know andean
stories they can visit Huánuco.
In all these places you can taste
different typical dishes, learn customs
and traditions from both the north and
center of Peru. Thanks a lot.
THANK YOU!
