Q 1. Choose any two of the following Hadiths, and:

(a) Describe their teachings about what Muslims believe; [04]

(b) Explain how Muslims can put these teachings into action. [04]

‫انا و کافل الیتیم فی الجنة کهذا و اشار بالسبابة و الوسطی۔‬ (i)

(i) ‘I and the man who brings up an orphan will be in paradise like this.’ And he pointed with his two
fingers, the index finger and the middle finger.

َ َ ‫ع َوإِ َذا ا ْشت ََرى َوإِ َذا ا ْقت‬

‫ضى۔‬ َ ‫ّللاه َر هج ًل‬
َ ‫س ْم ًحا إِ َذا بَا‬ َ ‫َر ِح َم‬ (ii)

(ii) May God show mercy to a man who is kindly when he sells, when he buys, and when he demands
his money back.

‫( إن هللا ال ینظر إلى صوركم وأموالكم ولكن ینظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم۔‬iii)

(iii) God does not look at your forms and possessions but He looks at your hearts and deeds.

‫( الدُّنیا سِجْ هن ْال همؤْ ِم ِن و َجنَةه ْالكافِ ِر۔‬iv)

(iv) The world is the believer’s prison and the unbeliever’s paradise.
