messages, are translated
automatically by the SAP Ariba
localization team and added into the
application code.

Any change in these sessions


requires a code change, therefore, a
Service Request should be raised

Landing Pages
Translations of landing pages's title of tiles and tile's descriptions are done via
Guided Buying's Admin > Translation session
▪ Titles of tiles including form tile titles
▪ Done in the landingpagetitles.json file
▪ Descriptions of tiles, including form tile descriptions
▪ Done in the JSON filename that matches the landing page/form design ID).

Landing Pages
Things to keep in mind
▪ Open the browser's inspector tool when uploading the file
▪ ZIP file names representing a primary locale (de.zip, es.zip...).
▪ ZIP file contains folder with the same locale name.

Policy names, Messages, Justification

Things to keep in mind


▪ File name is case sensitive.
▪ Extra comma at the end of the line causes error.
▪ Policy description can't be translated.

Forms
All text that appears to end users when creating a form document, such as
form titles and instructions, field labels and hint text, dropdown field
options and error message text can be translated to any supported
language.

▪ Download a file from the form design to see format and existing translations.
▪ Load a .strings file that has a JSON format.
▪ Update only the empty portion.
▪ Validating the content of uploaded translation files.
▪ Open the browser's inspector tool when uploading the file.
