refrigerant oil.

powertrain lift table at full extension.
66. Isolate lift and with assistance secure vehicle
to lift front arms with service tool.

support bracket to chassis. Torque - 160 Nm.
73. With assistance, carefully lower subframe
assembly approximately 50 mm.
74. Check all harness/hose connections are
disconnected and harness clips have been
released.
75. Carefully lower subframe assembly moving
lift table approximately 10 mm forward to
clear generator housing from rear chassis
crossmember.
WARNING: When removing subframe with
drivetrain assembly, the centre of gravity of
vehicle will change dramatically. Ensure the
vehicle is lashed to the lift or supported with
a stand prior to removal.
76. Rotate lift table slightly clockwise to allow A/
C pump to clear forward crossmember.
77. Remove subframe assembly.

Installation
1. Installation procedure is reverse of removal
except for the following.
NOTE: Clean component mating faces, prior
to installation.

2. Isolate low voltage battery. Refer to FRT:

3. Remove timing cover gasket. Refer to FRT:

4. Remove bolts (x3) securing fuel pump NOTE: Place suitable absorbent material

cylinder head. Torque - 10 Nm.
9. Remove bolts (x2) securing fuel pressure
regulator to intake manifold. Torque - 10 Nm.

Recover, Recycle And Recharge


1. Remove dust caps from high and low
pressure charge port connectors.

CAUTION: Identify refrigerant used in vehicle
system and use the appropriate A/C station to
recover refrigerant.
2. Connect high and low pressure recovery/
charging station hoses to vehicle charge
ports.
3. Check and note existing level of recovered
refrigerant oil.
4. Follow instructions supplied with recovery/
charging station, recover refrigerant from
HVAC system.
5. Measure and record quantity of oil recovered
from system.
6. Carry out required service procedure now
refrigerant has been recovered.
7. If any part of system has been opened during
course of a service procedure, a refrigerant
recovery (evacuate) process must be carried
out prior to recharging system.
8. Ensure recovery/charging station has enough
refrigerant to allow the system to be fully
charged.
9. Add required quantity of recommended
refrigerant oil to oil charger on recovery/
charging station.
10. Follow instructions supplied with recovery/
charging station, recharge HVAC system with
correct quantity of refrigerant.

2. Clean half shaft, CV joint and gaiter. If refitting
a CV joint, remove all old grease from joint
using a solvent based cleaner.
3. Install new snap-ring to half shaft.
4. Inspect gaiter for damage and renew if
necessary.
5. Apply 120 grams of recommended grease to
CV joint and gaiter. Approximately 50 grams
to CV joint and 70 grams to the gaiter.
6. Position gaiter and secure with new clips.
