B. HULL CLEANING / BLASTING / PAINTING
Hull cleaning/blasting/painting was carried out as per the specification in presence of PPG paint
inspector.
Flat bottom area coated 4900m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and hand scrapped. One
full seal coat applied, as its condition is satisfied
Vertical bottom area coated 4600m2.Entire area was high pressure washed and 25% SA2
blasted. Two touch up and two full coat antifouling was applied.
Topside area coated 2500m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and blasted 12-14mtrs
height. Two touch up and one full coat applied.

Auxiliary boiler no.1, feed water controller adjusted. Temperature controllers for ME jacket

rectification carried out.
23. Kongsberg technician attendance, renewed telegraph power and indicator cards. ME remote

5. Both the Anchors & Anchor cables cleaned and shackles marked
6. Windlass and moor winches gear box inspection carried out and gear oil renewed.
NAVIGATION BRIDGE:
1. Various antenna mountings re-fabricated by Yard.

2. Various navigation light fittings re-fabricated on main mast.
3. New Stevenson Screens fixed on both side bridge wings.
4. Panama Canal shelter re-fabricated.
5. Steel work on bridge wings.
MISCELLANEOUS JOBS:
1. All PV valves were overhauled and tested.
2. All Cranes Load tested. Midship crane & both provision crane wire renewed. / limit switches for
midship crane renewed.
3. Whole of main deck area under manifold including longitudinal and transverse frames hydro

4. The supports on gangway and Gangway platform renewed.
5. Accommodation and funnel areas high pressure washed, power tooled and painted.

40. Both main air reservoir cleaned, safety valve pressure tested.
41. OWS filters renewed, chamber drain stub pieces renewed and both chambers cleaned.

43. Deck and engine broken light fittings at various places renewed.
44. Engine room funnel top, EGB platform, boiler platform, LT coolers bottom platform and
various other places cleaned, de-rusted and painted.
45. Engine room tank top cleaned ,de rusted and painted.
46. Main engine all 6 units cylinder head studs removed, dye checked and fitted back with new O-
rings.
47. Slop P, Slop S and COT 1P cargo pumps removed and fitted back, renewed upper wear rings,
framo seal element and o-rings.
48. Installed insulation putty at various places of cable penetration area.
49. Captain’s eye installation on bridge carried out.
50. Batteries renewed for emergency generator room, fire control system and nor control system 1.

dismantled, cleaned, inspected, assembled, and pressure tested. Cylinder head Gaskets and O-
rings renewed, Stuffing box overhauled, all pistons dismantled, cleaned, dye tested, assembled
and pressure tested, all liner jackets removed O-rings renewed and pressure tested.
4. All Six cylinders heads sent to outside workshop for reconditioning ;
5. Piston crown 2nos, piston skirt 6 nos, Fuel pump housing 4 nos, Exhaust valve seat and spindle
6 nos, exhaust air spring housing 4 nos reconditioned. by Longkong.
6. ME Turbocharger overhauled by Kemklen, bearings renewed.
7. M/E Crankshaft deflection taken.
8. M/E jacket water preheater cleaned and pressure tested
9. All units exhaust valves overhauled by shipyard.
