B. HULL CLEANING / BLASTING / PAINTING

Hull cleaning/blasting/painting was carried out as per the specification in presence of PPG paint
inspector.

Flat bottom area coated 4900m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and hand scrapped. One
full seal coat applied, as its condition is satisfied

Vertical bottom area coated 4600m2.Entire area was high pressure washed and 25% SA2
blasted. Two touch up and two full coat antifouling was applied.

Topside area coated 2500m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and blasted 12-14mtrs
height. Two touch up and one full coat applied.

I. HULL DAMAGE REPAIRS

UT gauging carried out on board and following steel platings renewed as per attending ABS CAP
Surveyor recommendations. The water tightness integrity and strength of the renewed tank boundaries
have been verified by hydrostatic testing.

To meet CAP 1 requirement, approximate 15 t steel renewed in different WBTs and on Main deck.

BALLAST TANK:

Please refer to the attached yard work done list. Partially blasting and recoating in 7W and Power tooling in
other ballast tanks.

PIPELINES:

Please refer to the attached yard work done list. Various pipes line renewed on deck including the hydraulic
pipe, Air pipe, FW pipe, steam pipe. Lagging of steam in FW pipe were renewed.

LOAD TEST, SERVICES & INSPECTIONS BY SERVICE ENGINEERS:

1. S-VDR Annual survey carried out.


2. S-VDR master unit battery and FFC battery renewed.
3. Both SART’s battery renewed.
4. Echo Sounder battery renewed.
5. FBB defective Antenna renewed. Master cabin FBB repaired.
6. LRIT Software updated and damaged cable replaced.
7. S-Band Radar transmission assembly unit, IF Board, hard disk replaced and software upgraded.

9. Connections made for Magnetic compass input to Auto Pilot.
10. EPIRB 5 yearly shore-based maintenance carried out.
11. VSAT system repairs carried out.

permanent anodes 4 no.s and MGPS anodes for all three sea chests.
8. ME service engineer. Renewed 6 no.s chain guide bars.
9. Wisdom marine service engineer Rectified fault of Control position and ME cyl. lubrication alarm
10. Cargo hose pressure tested.
12. High level alarm sys Service carried out.
13. Fire detection and alarm sys was installed to cover BWTS room.
15. IGG service engineer attendance upgraded IGG control module both in CCR and IGG room.
Replaced IP converter for fuel control. IGG tried out and tested.
16. Steering gear was inspected by maker service engineer. Renewed upper gland seals and
overhauled control block for no.2 steering gear.
17. Fixed tank cleaning machine overhauling
18. ME pneumatic control system service carried out, Overhauled ME all pneumatic system, main
staring air valve and lubricators actuators for all 6 units.
19. Both tank cleaning heater repair carried out.
20. Auto pilot was repaired by maker engineer
21. Lonkong marine service engineer attendance Boiler water level controller transmitter renewed for
Auxiliary boiler no.1, feed water controller adjusted. Temperature controllers for ME jacket
water, F.O service tank, ME L.O and FWG overhauled.
22. Fire detection system smoke detectors and manual call point at various places renewed, and fault
rectification carried out.
23. Kongsberg technician attendance, renewed telegraph power and indicator cards. ME remote
control system checked and AMS checks carried out.

LIFE BOAT & LIFE RAFT:

1. Both lifeboat davit falls and remote wires renewed


2. 04 nos. Life raft cradles renewed.
3. Both lifeboats 5 yearly servicing / inspection carried out.
4. Both lifeboats davit falls renewed and load tested.
5. Lifeboat air bottles annual inspection done.
6. Various minor repairs to both life boats

SAFETY EQUIPMENT:

1. 46 nos. immersion suits and 03 nos. IBC Chemical suits annual servicing carried out by shore
workshop.
2. Fixed CO2 system 101 Cylinders hydro tested by shore workshop.
3. 03 nos. UTI tapes annual servicing and calibration carried out.
4. Wasted fire / foam lines renewed at various location.
5. Wasted angle supports and U-clamps for fire / foam lines renewed at various location.
6. 02 nos. Embarkation ladder stowage angle supports renewed.
7. Various sprinklers nozzles renewed in fwd / aft paint locker, Chemical sample locker and IG
room.
8. Various gas detectors, one compound pressure gauge calibration.
9. Pressure and temperature calibrator serviced and calibrated.
10. Fixed Foam system 5 Yearly test and inspection done.

ANCHOR, WINDLASS & WINCHES:

1. Brake lining renewed for all windlass and testing done for all winches and both the windlass.
2. Windlass Port side hydraulic motor overhauled
3. STBD windlass were removed from place to yard work shop. Gear case box removed, bearing and
bushes renewed, shaft reconditioned and winch assembly installed back in place.
4. Windlass Port and Stbd side hydraulic brakes overhauled, Control block inlet and outlet hydraulic
pipes renewed. hydraulic inlet valves renewed
5. Both the Anchors & Anchor cables cleaned and shackles marked
6. Windlass and moor winches gear box inspection carried out and gear oil renewed.

NAVIGATION BRIDGE:

1. Various antenna mountings re-fabricated by Yard.


2. Various navigation light fittings re-fabricated on main mast.
3. New Stevenson Screens fixed on both side bridge wings.
4. Panama Canal shelter re-fabricated.
5. Steel work on bridge wings.

MISCELLANEOUS JOBS:
1. All PV valves were overhauled and tested.
2. All Cranes Load tested. Midship crane & both provision crane wire renewed. / limit switches for
midship crane renewed.
3. Whole of main deck area under manifold including longitudinal and transverse frames hydro
blasted cleaned and painted.
4. The supports on gangway and Gangway platform renewed.
5. Accommodation and funnel areas high pressure washed, power tooled and painted.
6. Electrical cables supporting clamps and support bases renewal on main deck and accommodation
outside.
7. 8 nos of Overhauling of Manifold Valves
8. Fwd and Aft tank cleaning heater cleaned and repaired at Yard.
9. 24 nos Tank cleaning machines overhauled by yard and shore work shop;
10. 2nd off cabin bathroom tiles Renewed .
