Shipyard Representative
Hull cleaning/blasting/painting was carried out as per the specification in presence of PPG paint
inspector.
Flat bottom area coated 4900m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and hand scrapped. One
full seal coat applied, as its condition is satisfied
Vertical bottom area coated 4600m2.Entire area was high pressure washed and 25% SA2
blasted. Two touch up and two full coat antifouling was applied.
Topside area coated 2500m2. Entire area was high pressure washed and blasted 12-14mtrs
height. Two touch up and one full coat applied.

Remarks: Rudder pintle bushes clearances taken with the help of feeler gauge, found well within

H. SEA VALVES
Remarks: 2 NO.S Sea water overboard valves A/C pump and Fire & Foam pump renewed . Other All
valves o’hauled as per the specifications. OWS Overboard valve and Boiler Blowdown overboard
valves and sea chest valves removed from place and Gaskets renewed.
UT gauging carried out on board and following steel platings renewed as per attending ABS CAP
Surveyor recommendations. The water tightness integrity and strength of the renewed tank boundaries
have been verified by hydrostatic testing.
To meet CAP 1 requirement, approximate 15 t steel renewed in different WBTs and on Main deck.

K. DECK REPAIR
BALLAST TANK:
Please refer to the attached yard work done list. Partially blasting and recoating in 7W and Power tooling in
other ballast tanks.
PIPELINES:
Please refer to the attached yard work done list. Various pipes line renewed on deck including the hydraulic
pipe, Air pipe, FW pipe, steam pipe. Lagging of steam in FW pipe were renewed.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
1. 46 nos. immersion suits and 03 nos. IBC Chemical suits annual servicing carried out by shore
workshop.
2. Fixed CO2 system 101 Cylinders hydro tested by shore workshop.
3. 03 nos. UTI tapes annual servicing and calibration carried out.
4. Wasted fire / foam lines renewed at various location.
5. Wasted angle supports and U-clamps for fire / foam lines renewed at various location.
6. 02 nos. Embarkation ladder stowage angle supports renewed.
7. Various sprinklers nozzles renewed in fwd / aft paint locker, Chemical sample locker and IG
room.
8. Various gas detectors, one compound pressure gauge calibration.
9. Pressure and temperature calibrator serviced and calibrated.
10. Fixed Foam system 5 Yearly test and inspection done.

11. Fire control station and fittings general service carried out;
12. Incinerator refractory patch up work carried out.
13. OWS chamber new relief valve fitted.
1. Brake lining renewed for all windlass and testing done for all winches and both the windlass.
2. Windlass Port side hydraulic motor overhauled
3. STBD windlass were removed from place to yard work shop. Gear case box removed, bearing and
bushes renewed, shaft reconditioned and winch assembly installed back in place.
4. Windlass Port and Stbd side hydraulic brakes overhauled, Control block inlet and outlet hydraulic
pipes renewed. hydraulic inlet valves renewed
5. Both the Anchors & Anchor cables cleaned and shackles marked
6. Windlass and moor winches gear box inspection carried out and gear oil renewed.
NAVIGATION BRIDGE:
MISCELLANEOUS JOBS:
1. All PV valves were overhauled and tested.
2. All Cranes Load tested. Midship crane & both provision crane wire renewed. / limit switches for
midship crane renewed.
3. Whole of main deck area under manifold including longitudinal and transverse frames hydro
blasted cleaned and painted.
4. The supports on gangway and Gangway platform renewed.
5. Accommodation and funnel areas high pressure washed, power tooled and painted.
6. Electrical cables supporting clamps and support bases renewal on main deck and accommodation
outside.
7. 8 nos of Overhauling of Manifold Valves
8. Fwd and Aft tank cleaning heater cleaned and repaired at Yard.
9. 24 nos Tank cleaning machines overhauled by yard and shore work shop;
10. 2nd off cabin bathroom tiles Renewed .
11. Curtains and Sofa covers renewed in Crew smoke room and various cabins.
12. Manifold and catwalk gratings renewed at various places.
13. Butterworth side plating renewed for various cargo tanks
14. Various steps and catwalk gratings renewed

flanges in good condition reused.
16. Fire line renewed renewed at various locations.
17. Main & return stream line and expansion joints renewed at various locations.
18. HFO & LSMGO defective pipe lines renewed
19. Various cabins and bridge wooden fittings repaired inside accommodation,
20. New PA system & talkback system installed.
21. 2 nos. additional light for anchor station installed on forward mast.

10. ME pneumatic control system valves and lubricator actuators overhauled by JUNMA
11. ME chain guide bars AFT 4 no.s and FWD moment compensator 2no.s renewed by JUNMA.
BOILERS
1. Both Boilers main steam valves and mountings overhauled and both sides gaskets renewed;
2. Both Aux. boilers and E.G.B safety valves overhauled.
3. Port and Starboard boilers water and exhaust side cleaned.
4. Both aux. Boilers and EGB survey carried out by ABS surveyor.
26. Bilge overboard and boiler blowdown valve removed from place , overhauled and fitted back in
place after survey,
27. Various tanks inside ER cleaned for Special survey.

The 4th intermediate Survey carried out and certificates issued by the ABS Class Surveyor.
CAP 1 Survey carried out and completed on board, reports submitted to ABS Houston office for review and
assignment of CAP rating. EST 15T of steel renewed as per UT gauging carried out on board under ABS
Surveyor guidance.
