MODEL 100

Stand Alone Data Acquisition System

Based on a Field-Proven and Reliable design.
The Model 100 is a fully-automated intelligent stand-alone Data Acquisition System that
provides a means of processing and archiving analog data collected from a variety of
instruments and sensors. The unit incorporates powerful software, providing the user with
a high level of flexibility for configuring various applications. An operator can interact with
the software using either the front panel keyboard/display menu system or by using an
interactive command-oriented interface via the serial RS-232 communications port. The
menu system is designed to make the unit very simple for the operator to comprehend and
use. The serial command interface is designed to simplify interaction with other computer
systems.
Combining the advanced engineering of Tanabyte Instrument Systems with the wide range
of functions such as real-time digital signal processing, process control functions that
include cross-channel calculations, per-channel limit checking and alarming, digital control
outputs, and multiple data review formats.
The Model 100 combines advanced hardware design and sophisticated software package
to provide a comprehensive integrated solution carefully engineered to meet the air
monitoring application's demands for precision, flexibility and reliability.
Precision...
• Real-time analog signal conditioning and high-speed digital signal processing mean
faster answers and immediate control action.

• The highest accuracy results from 12-bit A/D conversion with floating-point math following
per-channel analog filtering and built-in calibration.

• By virtue of these and the differential input feature, Model 100 is capable of monitoring
even noisy signals, yielding a typical measurement accuracy of 0.1% of full scale, after
calibration.

Flexibility...
• Menu driven software permits easy setup of standard functions to obtain finished
engineering unit answers and precisely timed responses for process control.

• Every system is directly compatible with the Dasibi Environmental Corp. Model 8001
Datalogger. All boards are interchangeable and the operating software’s menu system
retains the same structure.

• Open-architecture linkage makes data easily accessible via commercial third-party

software.

Reliability...
• Model 100 dynamic database makes 100% of acquired data available on a real-time
basis.

• The hardware environment using premium components and state-of-the-art circuitry

guarantees drift-free measurement and dependable control action.

• Full stand-alone functionality ensure maximum uptime. Through a large repertoire of

standard processing functions, each system can be easily configured for specific
measurement and control requirements.
