I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
● Hop, gallop, jog and slide using a mature pattern.
● Skip using a mature pattern.
● Practice jumping and landing (horizontal)
● Perform jumping and landing actions with balance.

Introducing the lesson, Playing games.
1. Warm up Learners play a variety of indigenous games which help develop:

● Hand -eye coordination

Basket familiarization:
Dribbling technique and practice individually
○ Contact the ball with your finger pads rather than the palm of your hand. This will give
you better control.
○ Bend and straighten from your wrist and elbow as you bounce the ball.
2. 15” ○ Push, don’t slap, the ball downwards at about hip-height.
○ Your hips and knees should be slightly flexed (bent).
○ Try not to look at the ball – keep your head up and be aware of what’s going on around
you.

3. 15” ● Passing technique and practice in pairs


○ Bounce pass

○ Overhead pass

● Giants Wizards and Gnomes (Rock Paper Scissors game)


○ Like RPS except you use your whole body to express
○ Giants > Wizards > Gnomes > Giants
○ Divide students into two sides on the field.
○ All students choose one to express then line up in the middle of the field.
○ Count down 3,2,1 then all the students show their expression.
