CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

This chapter represents the coverage of the scientific investigation. This

centralizes the investigation of Aloe Vera Organic Gel as a Hair Treatment. This will be

conducted by us with our each assigned approved topic. It includes the background of the

study, statement of the problem, hypothesis, significance of the study, scope and

limitations, and definition of terms.

Background of the Study

The following study indicates that Aloe Vera has a lot of benefits. But the most

common uses of Aloe Vera are for hair treatment. It is said that Aloe Vera promotes

healthy hair growth and soothes the scalp to avoid dandruffs. Aloe Vera has been used for

centuries for its healing properties. Some claim it has another application besides its skin

benefits: It can actually strengthen your hair and make your scalp healthier. While there’s

no clinical evidence to support this claim, Aloe Vera is safe for most people and may be

beneficial. The best form of Aloe Vera to use on your hair is the raw gel of the plant. You

can buy this gel in almost any pharmacy or scoop it out of leaves cut fresh from a live

plant if you have one. The gel is clear in color and slightly watery. Rubbing Aloe Vera

into your scalp and hair and letting it penetrate your hair follicles could condition and

improve damaged, dry hair. After letting it sit for an hour, rinse the gel off with a mild

shampoo.
Aloe, Aloe is a succulent plant belonging to the Liliaceae family, related to

onions, garlic, asparagus, tulips, lilies and hyacinths (Machado Inca, 2013). It is a

perennial plant native to Africa naturalized in our country (México) in which there are

more than 250 species, the structure of the leaf is a gelatinous and transparent core (pulp)

wrapped by a thin yellow liquid layer (acíbar) protected all by the thin but resistant green

outer bark (Albiter, 2010). Shampoo, it is a personal hygiene product that is formulated

based surfactants accompanied by other substances that contribute to generate an

emulsifying, foaming, moisturizing and mainly cleaning properties that have as objective

to eliminate whitish or yellowish residues from the fat that produces the gandules sweat.

Is a product used for cleansing of the scalp and hair or preparation made mainly of

surfactants, conditioners and foaming agents (together or separately) whose primary

action is clean and remove from the scalp the excess fat and accumulated particles The

Aloe Vera is a plant that has uses in the pharmaceutical, food and in the cosmetics

industry. In the industrial sector in this case specifically, cosmetics in the production of

Shampoo of Aloe has multiple benefits in the treatment of hair. The application of Sábila

externally prevents and stops hair loss and in general contributes to maintain the health of

the hair, by its chemical composition The use of aloe-based shampoo helps hair

regeneration strengthens the hair follicles prevents hair loss, and stimulate growth,

prevent aging hair combat dryness, adds shine, volume, stimulates collagen production

(Juarez et al., 2019).

The purpose of the investigation is to perform an experiment that will be based on

our experience. This scientific investigation will lead us to learn more and engage

properly in this kind of activity. We are expected to act in a rightful manner and to be
respectful of the learning process. We, the investigators should participate in this project

as we are the ones who are responsible for this action.

Statement of the Problem

The Statement of the Problem provides a brief explanation about the problem and

vulnerability of the study and it is a statement of an impediment that needs to be

answered. Observation becomes a scientific tool and the method of data collection for the

researcher when it serves a formulated research purpose is systematically planned and

recorded and is subjected to checks and controls on validity and reliability. So in this

investigation, we ourselves are the ones who will conduct our own experiment and

observation.

1. What are the day-to-day progress of Aloe Vera hair treatment usage for 20 days?

2. What are the results after the Aloe Vera hair treatment investigation?

Hypothesis

To enlighten the stated problems, the investigation aimed to test the following

hypothesis.

Ho1. The application of Aloe Vera Organic Gel as a Hair Treatment does not influence

hair progress.
Significance of the Study

The successes of the investigation are beneficial to the following group and

organization:

The Students of Mati Doctors Academy, this study is important for students to

know how Aloe Vera organic gel can be used as hair treatment. In this way it will

increase their knowledge how Aloe Vera organic gel are beneficial.

The Mati Doctors Academy, to makes a contribution to the school curriculum by

developing pupils' observation when it comes to scientific investigation or even

conducting an experiment.

The Teachers of Mati Doctors Academy, this will help the teachers to analyze the

students observation skills and analyzation.

The Researchers, this will be used to add extra references to be used by other

researchers to discover how Aloe Vera organic can be used as hair treatment.

The Future researchers, the result of this investigation can be a reference for

another researcher in conducting further research about the Aloe Vera organic gel as hair

treatment.

Scope and Limitations

The scope and limitations of the investigation should inform readers about the

limitations of the study, the scope also focuses on boundaries of the investigation. I the
researcher will conduct the investigation at 17-1B Magsaysay City of Mati Davao

Oriental. There will be no other respondents as I am the only one who will do the

investigation. I the respondent must participate properly in this observation. This

observation will also help other students to enhance their observation skills when it

comes to their investigation and experiments, specifically in a scientific investigation or

scientific investigatory project.

Definition of Terms

The definition of terms provides technical terms that will help us in the study.

These terms will give definition that can be found in our study including the words that

are frequently used in our investigation. The following definitions are as follow:

Analyzation is the act or an instance of analyzing something to separate (a

material or abstract entity) into constituent parts or elements; determine the elements or

essential features of (opposed to synthesize): to analyze an argument or to examine

critically, so as to bring out the essential elements or give the essence of and to examine

carefully and in detail so as to identify causes, key factors, possible results, etc.

Conduct is a mode or standard of personal behavior especially as based on moral

principles questionable conduct, also the act, manner, or process of carrying on

management praised for his conduct of the campaign.

Experiment is a procedure carried out to support, refute, or validate a hypothesis.

Experiments provide insight into cause-and-effect by demonstrating what outcome occurs

when a particular factor is manipulated. Experiments vary greatly in goal and scale, but

always rely on repeatable procedure and logical analysis of the results. There also exist

natural experimental studies.

Investigation is the action of investigating something or someone; formal or

systematic examination or research. The act or process of investigating; a careful search

or examination in order to discover facts, etc.

Observation is an act or instance of noticing or perceiving, an act or instance of

regarding attentively or watching. The faculty or habit of observing or noticing an act or

instance of viewing or noting a fact or occurrence for some scientific or other special

purpose: the observation of blood pressure under stress.

Scientific investigation is a plan for asking questions and testing possible answers.

A scientific investigation typically begins with observations. Observations often lead to

questions. A hypothesis is a possible logical answer to a scientific question, based on

scientific knowledge.
CHAPTER 2

METHODOLOGY

This chapter reveals about the methodology of the study and represents the

different observation instruments and methods that will be used to collect information in

our investigation. This study will also use to achieve investigation objectives in

examining the Aloe Vera organic Gel as a Hair Treatment.

Research Design

My topic for scientific investigation is Aloe Vera Organic Gel as a Hair

Treatment. A capstone project is completed by a student who is very close to earning her

degree. The project is generally very intensive and demanding, and in most fields, it can

involve some type of research. You may need to write a research paper as part of your

capstone project. Within the paper, you must include a methodology section. Knowing all

you can about how to write each section of the research paper for your capstone project

will make completing the entire project seem less daunting.

Label the methodology section of the research report for your capstone project as

"Methods." Include information about the materials you used to conduct your research in

the methodology section. Materials can mean any instruments or equipment you used,

any subjects being studied and any treatments that were administered as part of your

research. Explain how you used the materials listed. To complete your research, you most

likely used or manipulated the materials in some way. A thorough explanation specific to

your research needs to be provided.

Talk about what your research entailed, how you gathered information and how

measurements were made, when relevant. All of these details about your research are

vital to a complete methods section.

Mention the statistical methods or tests that you used to analyze the research and

data that you collected using the previously described methods.

Check your work. After reading through your methods section, a person should be

able to replicate your research exactly. Read the section carefully, making sure you did

not leave out any information. Additionally, the language you use should be direct and to

the point, with no extraneous words or phrases, and your sentence structure should

include short, declarative sentences whenever possible.

Research Locale

This scientific investigation will be conducted at 17-1B, Magsaysay, City of Mati,

Province of Davao Oriental. Magsaysay has a friendly neighborhood which divided into

four parts. I will conduct the investigation at 17-1B Magsaysay, which is near located at

our provincial capitol.

The Provincial Capitol Building of Davao Oriental, popularly called "The White

House," is a three-storey building located at the Capitol Hills in Barangay Central in the

City of Mati. It is the seat of political power in the province and it houses the different

offices of the provincial government and its agencies. It features a park, a children's

playground, basketball and tennis courts.

This imposing white structure sits on a hectare of land on top of Capitol Hills and

is said to be one of the most beautiful capitol buildings in Mindanao. Its construction

began during the term of former Governor Ma. Elena Palma Gil and was completed

under the current Governor Corazon Malanyaon. Both governors came from Cateel.

One should not miss this beautifully designed Provincial Capitol Building of

Davao Oriental when visiting the City of Mati. This famous landmark is an attraction in

itself to behold.

Mati, officially the City of Mati, and also referred to as Mati City, is a 5th class

city and the capital of the province of Davao Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2015

census, it has a population of 141,141 people. It is located on the south-eastern side of

Mindanao.

Mati comes from the Mandayan word Maa-ti which refers to the town’s creek that

easily dries up even after heavy rain. Pioneer settlers were tribes Kalagan, Mandayan, and

Maranao which carried strong Arabic and Indo-Malayan influences.

Mati City’s Roman Catholicism is the major religious group, comprising the 80%

of the total population. Islam comes in second with 8 percent; Iglesia Ni Cristo comes in

third comprising with 6 percent. A small number of believers of other Christian groups

like the United Church of Christ and Seventh Day Adventist are in the city as well. The

Cathedral of San Nicolas de Tolentino is the center of Diocese of Mati under the

jurisdiction of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Davao. Two parishes are in Mati: one in

the town center and one in Brgy. Dawan.

Mati celebrates two annual grand festivals: the Pujada Bay Festival every June,

and the Sambuokan Festival every October.

Compared to the Kadayawan of Davao and other festivals, both of Mati’s are

relatively new. The Pujada Bay Festival started in 2004 to promote and protect the Pujada

Bay, while the Sambuokan Festival started in 2001 to unite Matinians during the

commemoration of the municipality’s founding anniversary every October 29.

In years, both festivals have become alternative tourist destinations as competitors

from various regions in the country start pouring in for competitions like streetdancing,

boat racing, skimboarding, and frisbee

Mati City’s major transportation is the pedicab or tricycle and the bao-bao,

patterned after the famous auto rickshaw or tuktuk of Thailand, are the major means of

transportation around the city. Jeepneys are available for travels from Mati to its

neighboring towns while vans and buses are still the only means of transportation from

Mati to other cities.

Mati Airport is scheduled to re-open soon, with Cebu Pacific planning on offering

Mati-Cebu direct flights. There is also a seaport in Mati. The Mati Seaport in Pujada Bay

is one of only three seaports in the whole province of Davao Oriental.

Mati is auch a beautiful place to be. Mati City may be small, but it beholds a

landmark for tourists. Mati City is sought to be the capital of Davao Oriental. In general,

Davao Oriental composes 10 municipalities and 1 city, all organized into 2 legislative

districts. There are 183 barangays in the province. Mati City has a land area of 588.63

square kilometers which constitutes 10.36% of Davao Oriental’s total area.

Location Map

Research Procedures

In order for us to succeed in this endeavour certain steps are needed to be followed:

First, research all about the necessary data regarding about the topic that you’ll be

investigating. Research would be a significant help to figure out the whole process and

equipments for the scientific investigation.

Second, conduct the scientific investigation. This will focus on the day-to-day

observation.
This will be the major whole progress which the results depends on the outcome

of the process.

Third, the whole gathered data including the scientific investigation will be

compiled. Once the compilation is done, it is ready for submission.

Statistical Treatment

To interpret the gathered data, the researchers will use the following:

1. Percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviations to describe the scientific

investigation.

2. Weighted mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of

average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final

average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean

plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several

other areas of mathematics.

3. Correlation analysis will be used to determine the effectiveness of the experimental

scientific investigation. The correlation analysis is a method of measuring the strength of

such relation between the two variables.

CHAPTER 3

RESULT

DAY 1

Observation:

This is it! My first day of doing this experiment! I got nervous at the same time I

am tensed of what the results would be. The date that I started this experiment was on

February 5, 2021. My hair is naturally curly and a little bit frizzy that’s why I thought

that the Aloe Vera would worsen my hair, but after all my hair turned out perfectly fine

after this investigation. I had a few struggles of applying the Aloe Vera Gel because my

hair is thick. As expected at the first day, there was no progress at all. My hair is still the

same as before.
RESULT

DAY 2

Observation:

So this is the second day of my investigation in capstone which happened on

February 6, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 1 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the second day of this investigation. My hair at the

first photo looks straight and because I clipped my hair using hair clips, especially the

curly part. But tomorrow, I won’t tie my hair so the results would be vivid and I’ll

capture it using my phone as a proof of this investigation. Anyways, my hair is still frizzy

and I noticed no changes

RESULT

DAY 3

Observation:

So this is the third day of my investigation in capstone which happened on

February 7, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 2 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the third day of this investigation. Anyways, I

applied the Organic Aloe Vera Gel before taking a bath and I’ll leave it for 10-15 minutes

then I’ll rinse it with water. I decided that I’ll use shampoo and conditioner alternately so

it won’t damage my hair. Yet, there’s still no progress in my hair but I’ll proceed on

doing this investigation to seek results.

RESULT

DAY 4

Observation:

So this is the fourth day of my investigation in capstone which happened on

February 8, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 3 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the fourth day of this investigation. Today, I used

conditioner because I used shampoo yesterday. Still my hair has no changes even though

my hair usual hair treatment was changed. I’m still hoping for better results one of these

days while doing this investigation. My hair is curly and frizzy at the same time but I kept

combing my hair to smoothen it.

RESULT

DAY 5

Observation:

So this is the fifth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 9, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 4 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the fifth day of this investigation. I used shampoo in

my hair today because of my alternate hair care schedule. Still, there are no changes or

any progress in my hair. Again, I applied the Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair and I

leave it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it with tap water. I am still lucky that my hair

has no damage or hair loss while doing this investigation.

RESULT

DAY 6

Observation:

So this is the sixth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 10, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 5 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the sixth day of this investigation. I used conditioner

in my hair today because of my alternate hair care schedule. Yet, there are no changes at

all. My hair remains the same like before, curly and frizzy. Sometimes, I’m taking a bath

in the afternoon when there are days that I am busy in the morning. Anyways, tomorrow

is another day and I’m proceeding to do this investigation while still hoping to get better

results.
RESULT

DAY 7

Observation:

So this is the seventh day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 11, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 6 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the seventh day of this investigation. I almost forgot

that today is the first week since I started this scientific investigation. Anyways, I’m still

hoping for the better outcome of my hair in this investigation. I’m doing my best to do

this experiment because the results have benefits too not just for this project, but for my

own self also. Fighting!

RESULT

DAY 8

Observation:

So this is the eighth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 12, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 7 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the eighth day of this investigation. Unluckily, I still

haven’t notice few changes, not even a little bit. But I’m still hoping for the better

development on this scientific investigation. But, if my experiment would fail or it

doesn’t work, I am perfectly fine with it too.

RESULT

DAY 9

Observation:

So this is the ninth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 13, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day eight and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the ninth day of this investigation. Unluckily, I

still haven’t notice few changes, not even a little bit. But I’m still hoping for the better

development on this scientific investigation. But, if my experiment would fail or it

doesn’t work, I am perfectly fine with it too. Also, most importantly, I have to deal with

the results no matter what.

RESULT

DAY 10

Observation:

So this is the tenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 14, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 9 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the tenth day of this investigation. At first, I haven’t

realized that I am halfway through in this scientific experiment. The results stayed the

same; the outcome remains just like before. I have nothing to do with the outcomes when

I failed, as long as I tried. Even though the results are still not showing, I am hopefully

waiting for it.

RESULT

DAY 11

Observation:

So this is the eleventh day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 15, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 10 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the eleventh day of this investigation. Still, I haven’t

notice any changes. It remains the same, nothing’s new. Every day in this investigation, I

applied the same amount of Organic Aloe Vera Gel but I alternately use shampoo and

conditioner so my hair won’t cause too much frizz from damage. Still, I insist that my

hair would at least have few changes in these coming days.

RESULT

DAY 12

Observation:

So this is the twelfth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 16, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 11 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the twelfth day of this investigation. There is still no

progress in the development of my investigation, but I’m persistently waiting to get better

results. I don’t know if my hair is just too thick because I still used the same amount of

Organic Aloe Vera since the first day of my investigation. Just like what they say,

“Patience is the key.”

RESULT

DAY 13

Observation:

So this is the thirteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 17, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 12 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the thirteenth day of this investigation. I just

noticed few changes in my hair after I took a bath today. I apply the Organic Aloe Vera

Gel every day before taking a shower. I am happy today because I can see that my hair is

slowly progressing. As you can see in the photos, my hair is a little smoother than the

previous days of my investigation. I’m looking forward on this progression.

RESULT

DAY 14

Observation:

So this is the fourteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 18, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 13 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the fourteenth day of this investigation. I’m

doing this experiment for two weeks now and counting. I also just noticed that my hair is

a little bit silkier today. I’m so much happy of the results because I didn’t expect that it

will turn out to be effective. Although, my hair is still thick and curly, but it is more firm

and smooth than before.

RESULT

DAY 15

Observation:

So this is the fifteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 19, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 14 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the fifteenth day of this investigation. So, the

investigation was getting better one of these days, patience is the key indeed. At first, I

was hesitant in this scientific investigation because I thought that my hair would be more

damage, but it turns out to be effective and efficient. Now, I would still continue doing

this scientific investigation since after few days this would be done.
RESULT

DAY 16

Observation:

So this is the sixteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 20, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 15 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the sixteenth day of this investigation. As I was

saying, I started to get better results unlike before. This scientific investigation thought

me to be more persistent and I also learn to be more resistant. Even though I was losing

hope for the better outcomes of this experiment, but I did not give up because I stayed

tenacious and attainable.

RESULT

DAY 17

Observation:

So this is the seventeenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 21, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 16 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the seventeenth day of this investigation. The

results stayed the same from day 13. The results really amazed me because my hair is less

frizzier than the previous ones, that’s why I am glad with the outcomes. I didn’t measure

my hair because I keep cutting it as it grows longer. I cut my hair to shoulder length

because my hair is curly; which is a lot of struggle when I’m doing my daily hair-do.
RESULT

DAY 18

Observation:

So this is the eighteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 22, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 17 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the eighteenth day of this investigation. The

results stayed the same from day 13. My hair really developed changes. I never thought

that it would be effective; not much effective but the progress is good. I feel great about it

because I feel like I achieved something. I also feel proud of myself because I know that I

did my best to make this happen; and it did happen.

RESULT

DAY 19

Observation:

So this is the nineteenth day of my investigation in my capstone which happened

on February 23, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 18 and the

second picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also

the recent experiment that I am doing in the nineteenth day of this investigation. I applied

the Organic Aloe Vera Gel in every strand of my hair, so that’s why my hair is shinier

and more firm. My hair is used to be kinky and contains a lot of split ends when I was a

kid; I am sharing this information because it might help. Now, it lessen as I grew up, it

became better when I did this experiment.

RESULT

DAY 20

Observation:

So this is the last day of my investigation in my capstone which happened on

February 24, 2021. So, the first picture represents the results of the day 19 and the second

picture showed the application of Organic Aloe Vera Gel in my hair, which is also the

recent experiment that I am doing in the twentieth day of this investigation. My hair was

better now even though my hair didn’t grow longer at least it grows smoother because of

this experiment. Anyways, there is also a part of this investigation which I learned

something. We can’t get what we want in the shortest time, so patience is really

significant for progression because it helps us learn while we are waiting.

1. What are the day-to-day progress of Aloe Vera hair treatment usage for 20 days?

At first, I admit that I wasn’t happy that much because the results aren’t showing.

Literally nothing happened from day 1-12 so I got frustrated. I nearly lose hope that I

would get better results in this investigation. In the thirteenth day, I noticed something. I

noticed my hair was getting better results in this investigation. Day-by-day, I recorded

my investigation to list down my observations. I also took a photo everyday to document

it every single day of my experiment. While I’m documenting my daily investigation, I

also took care or my hair properly for better outcomes.

2. What are the results after the Aloe Vera hair treatment investigation?

My hair got less frizzier, it also turned out smoother and shinier than before. I

never thought that this investigation would be effective. Until now, my hair is smoother.

Luckily, I never experienced hair loss during the whole process; even today after the

investigation. It is really worth it to give it a try because I would be glad to recommend it

for others; I’m not forcing anyone. My hair is more manageable now, unlike before. I can

say that there is really a great progression after the investigation. I am contented with the

results. I am happy with it.

CHAPTER 4

SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION

In this chapter, the summarization which concludes the experiment by the

summary recommendation and conclusion of the scientific investigation entitled “Aloe

Vera Gel as a Hair Treatement.”

Summary

It reveals that the researcher has 20 days to conduct the said experiment or

scientific investigation, the observer can also choose other respondents but it is also liable

that the observer can be the respondent itself.

From the first day of the scientific investigation, the Organic Aloe Vera Gel has

no effect up till after a week and several days. After the thirteenth day, several changes or

effects had been noticeable from the said investigation. Day 1 which is also the first day

of investigation, there has been no results yet. Day 2, still no results just like day 1. Day

3, still no results just like Day 2, still waiting for the results of this investigation. Day 4,

still no results just like Day 3. Day 5, and yet no results just like the Day 4. Day 6, no

vivid results at all. Day 7, unfortunately after a week, there is still no changes. Day 8, still

no results just like Day 7. Day 9, unluckily the result hasn’t showed up yet just like Day

8. Day 10, the no clear results at all just like Day 9. Day 11, still no results just like Day

10. Day 12, nothing is new, still no results. Day 13, few changes was noticed by the

researcher. Day 14, which is the second week of the investigation, results are clear little
by little. Day 15, it gets better as the investigation continues. Day 16, as the observation

continues, the results are getting better too. Day 17, the outcomes were great which just

like Day 16. Day 18, the progression of the scientific investigation became greater. Day

19, the development was amazing because it shows a great difference. Day 20, the last

day of the observation which shows wonderful results, it turns out to be effective.

Recommendation

In this part, this is where the researcher would recommend the scientific

investigation to others. In this way, the future respondents or researchers would also be

interested to recommend this study, these are the following recommendations.

It boost hair growth, Aloe Vera promotes healthy hair growth thanks to a special

enzyme found in aloe called proteolytic enzymes. These enzymes effectively break down

dead skin cells on the scalp that may clog hair follicles. If hair follicles are blocked with

excess sebum, dirt, or dead skin, they won't be able to grow properly. Aloe can also help

cleanse the scalp so more nutrients can penetrate the hair follicle, helping hair grow faster

and more efficiently.

It is super calming, Aloe Vera is soothing on your skin after sunburn—and your

scalp loves its calming effects, too. Aloe Vera may reduce inflammation and calm itching

on the scalp that helps improve symptoms associated with dandruff. Some research

shows that aloe Vera is antifungal and antibacterial which also decreases the risk of

developing dandruff or a flaky scalp."

It is strengthening, too. Aloe Vera has a similar chemical makeup to keratin, the

primary protein found in hair that helps to moisturize, strengthen, and repair damage. The

aloe Vera plant is also an excellent source of essential amino acids, fatty acids, and

vitamins A, C, E, and B-12. Together, these health benefits promote hair regrowth, while

keeping hair nourished and well-hydrated. It also helps maintain a strong moisture

barrier, which is the key to keeping hair strands super strong.

It is cleansing. Aloe Vera has a unique gel texture we love—and thanks to its

antibacterial, antiseptic, and healing properties, this makes it a great mild cleanser

(especially for sensitive skin types). It helps to naturally wash away impurities while

proteolytic enzymes gently remove dead skin cells and flakes from the scalp.

Conclusions

Aloe Vera has a lot of benefits that we can use for our daily basis. It can be

beneficial to all of us. In this study, it shows that this experiment is effective although it

did not show the results immediately.

In this study, I learned to be patient and be tenacious. The observation is a slow

pace but the results are worthy anyways. I must say that this scientific investigation isn’t

expensive and it is not costly either. This experiment is very simple and anyone can do it.

Lastly, in this capstone project, I learned that every small detail is very important.

These details can be used as a significant documentation in a certain activity. These small

details make big difference; it is still also depends on the beholders’ perspective.
