Good evening Parents and Students!

Welcome to Class 6A, Sunday School 2024-2025.

We're so glad to have you back and are sure, that you all are excited too.

On behalf of our Spiritual Director Fr. Pawan, and the entire Sunday School team,
we thank you for trusting in us with your child's Spiritual development.

As we begin Sunday School 2024-25, we ask your support in ensuring that our
children "Think Big, Think Divine!"

Our goal is to encourage our children in every way possible, at home, in school, at
church and in society. We will encounter the storms of life however, remember this,
"He wants us to CROSS!"

Here is the plan for Sunday School 2024-25:

1. 100% Attendance: Encourage our children to be regular at Sunday School.

2. 100% Participation: Encourage our children to participate in class activities


assigned to them, encourage them to share what they have learnt at Sunday School
with you and the family. And also encourage them to use their talents during Sunday
School events.

3. Prayers: Encourage our children to pray their daily prayers and Rosary.

4. Dress Code: Encourage our children to dress appropriately.

5. Behaviour: Encourage our children to be on their best behaviour, specially


during The Eucharistic Celebration during The Holy Mass.

We will have a Blessed year 2024-25, and with your prayers and support will bring
the Blessings of the Lord, upon our children, our families, our community, our
parish, and the entire world. God Bless!

Guideline's for Sunday School

1. 100% Attendance: Encourage our children to be regular at Sunday School. In the


event that your child is unable to make it to Sunday School, kindly keep us
informed on the group or personally to me.

2. 100% Participation: Encourage our children to participate in class activities


assigned to them, encourage them to share what they have learnt at Sunday School
with you and the family. And also encourage them to use their talents during Sunday
School events.

3. Dress Code: Encourage our children to dress appropriately.

4. Encourage your kids to share the lessons and activities conducted at Sunday
School with you and the entire family.

5. Sunday School includes attending class, and most importantly attending The Holy
Eucharist. If your child needs to leave early, and is unable to attend mass, send a
letter informing us and the reason for not attending mass.

6. Please encourage your child to carry their personal BIBLE, notebook and a pen.

7. Discipline in church:

- Encourage our children to be on their best behaviour, specially during The


Eucharistic Celebration during The Holy Mass.
- Respond to the prayers and avoid talking and distracting or be distracted by
others.
- Receiving communion appropriately, joining their hands, bowing before The Holy
Eucharist, and then receive The Holy Eucharist on their tongue or their hands.

8. Talents: To ensure our children are using their talents effectively, we need to
understand what they are good at. Kindly choose from anyone of the below
activities, and mention it against your child's name.

Lastly parents, we would love to interact with you personally about your child's

Meaning of your name: Children were asked to write down the meaning of their name
on their notebook and share it with us. We will check this activity on coming
Sunday.

The Beatitudes: Watch the given link on The Beatitudes with the family or parents
and write down The Beatitudes on the notebook. We will check this activity on
coming Sunday.

1. Attendance: Kindly share your attendance sheet for the month of June, in an
excel format, and similarly share each month attendance at the end of the month.
This will also help in maintaining a headcount for Class 6.

2. Lessons: Also, I hope we have all covered the lessons as per the schedule
discussed.

3. Bible Quiz: Kindly remind students that the first Bible Quiz is on 21st July,
and covers John 1-6. I will share a sample quiz questions that can help us prepare
them for the same.
4. Liturgy: Although our Class 6 liturgy has not been announced yet, kindly select
students for the same and train them in advance. [ Just a suggestion ]

5. Kindly encourage your students and parents to encourage others in their


communities to join Sunday School, and attend regularly.

Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome in the group or personally.

Think Big! Think Divine!

Sunday, 07th July, 2024.

We thank you parents for encouraging your children to attend Sunday School
regularly. God Bless you and your families. Please encourage more children to
attend Sunday School.

1. Lesson: The Mustard Seed and The Leaven.

Once again, Vanessa teacher very beautifully covered the above lesson with some
mustard seeds and leaven she carried to class, and it was wonderful to see our
children engaging in the topic too.

2. Activity: Books were also collected to check if previous Sunday's activities


were completed and it was amazing to see most of the students book well decorated,
and activities completed as well. Keep it up students your spiritual journey has
begun on the right path.

3. Attendance: We had almost all our students present, and I will share the
attendance with your shortly.

4. Bible Quiz. A reminder again, that this years 1st Bible Quiz on the Gospel of
John will begin on 21st July, 2024. Please read the Gospel of John. We need 100%
registration & participation. Also, when you read the Word of God, please ensure
that you Read, Reflect and then implement the Word of God in your lives.

Thank God for another blessed day!

We concluded our cluster meeting last evening, and praise God for this wonderful
gathering.

We missed a lot of you yesterday, however, we shall have more such meetings in the
months to come.
Thanks to Mr Diego and Mrs Sheila Rodrigues, for allowing us to conduct our cluster
meeting at their home. God Bless them and their family.

The Word of God was read from John 5:1–18, and we each shared what touched us the
most in that chapter. We each have taken home a message for our families and
ourselves.

for a better understanding of what Jesus wants to convey to us as a cluster,
