Schools in the past

In the past, schools looked different than they do now. They were big

buildings made of bricks with large classrooms. Inside, you would find wooden

desks and chairs, all lined up in neat rows. The teacher had a blackboard at the

front of the class, and they would write on it using chalk.

Unlike today, students didn't have laptops or tablets. They used textbooks,

notebooks, and pencils to do their work. If they needed to research something,

they would go to the library and use encyclopaedias or other reference books.

Sports and other activities were a part of school too, but there weren't as

many choices as there are now. Popular sports included football, basketball, and

athletics. These sports are still popular nowadays, but new sports emerge like

eSports which becomes main attraction.

Even though schools have changed a lot over the years, their main goal is

still the same: to help students learn, grow, and develop important skills that

will help them in the future.
