TRAINING PROPOSAL

TITLE: Door Mat Making Training Proposal for Members of The Rural Improvement Club (RIC)
of Brgy. Progreso, Aglipay, Quirino

INTRODUCTION:

In Brgy. Progreso, Aglipay, Quirino, there is a population who struggling to find stable employment
opportunities. Many of these are members of the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) who have the skills and
determination to succeed, but lack the resources and training needed to secure sustainable livelihoods. As a
community, it is our responsibility to support and empower these individuals to reach their full potential.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

To address the challenges faced by RIC Members in Brgy. Progreso, Aglipay, Quirino, we propose to
conduct a Door Mat Making Training Program. This program aims to provide the participants with the
necessary skills and knowledge to manufacture high-quality door mats, which can be sold in the local market
for profit.

TRAINING PARTICIPANTS:

This training is specifically designed for the members of the Rural Improvement Club of Brgy.
Progreso, Aglipay, Quirino, including women who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking alternative
income sources. Participants must demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to apply their new
skills towards economic empowerment.

NUMBER OF TRAINING PARTICIPANTS:

25 pax

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

1. To equip participants with the technical skills required to design, create, and produce door mats.
2. To provide participants with business knowledge and entrepreneurship skills to successfully market
and sell their door mats.
3. To empower participants to generate income through the production and sale of door mats,
improving their financial stability and quality of life.
TRAINING DURATION, DATE AND VENUE:

The Door Mat Making Training Program will be conducted over a period of three (3) days, starting
from June 26 to 28, 2024. The program will be facilitated by skilled trainers from the TESDA Quirino and will
provide participants with all necessary materials and tools required for door mat production. The training will
be held at Brgy. Progreso Gymnasium, Aglipay, Quirino.

CONCLUSION:

By offering the Door Mat Making Training Program to the members of RIC of Brgy. Progreso, Aglipay,
Quirino, we aim to provide them with the skills and opportunities needed to improve their livelihoods and
contribute to the local economy. We believe that with the right support and training, these individuals can
achieve financial independence and a provide their family a better quality of life. We urge the community,
local organizations, and government agencies to support this initiative and help us empower our
disadvantaged and displaced workers, and also the low-income workers.
