SCOUT AND GUIDES SUMMER CAMP 25/04/2023 to 29/04/2023

PLACE - LAKEVIEW CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL DANTARAMAKKI KM ROAD CHIKMAGALUR

DAY-1
During the summer vacation under the guidance of ( SM )shamsheer ali.T and (GC)Reshma .
We had the good fortune of attending a scout and guide camp. The camp was a lesson in
discipline and about being a useful citizen.

According to the patrol system made. 3 troops of 8 members scout 24+01

We assembled in stage in front of the flag post in harshow shape
Started with the prayer song and jhanda geeth .rehearsal of prayer song ,jhanda
geeth,oath,history, laws and promise, fundamental principles,four bonds of scouting,motto,
sign,left handshake and salute and about flags we recalled and went to in the full day session
…
Day - 2
Learning about ropes
The second day we invited the two SM to our camp Nihal and shoeib ..they started the class of
ripping types of ropes using ropes and knots we learnt in the morning session. After the lunch
conducting the activity of craft and we all went towards one tree which was a huge and big , to
tie some ropes to make a rope activity .
DAY - 3
District coordinator scout and guide Chikmagalur visited the camp.

NNS ,square lashing,diagonal lashing,shear lashing, and the uses and the importance of
lashing..tent house afternoon session community service cleaning by our campus and area
cleaning

DAY - 4
Conducting the competition

Cooking without fire children prepared the varieties of food juices judges tested the food ..gave
us prizes. The day ended with happiness and also the camp by giving the prizes for winning
competitors.But remembering the days .. this camp gave us basic knowledge, it's a foundation
for us to do the scouting…
