Sub:-Work Order for Hiring of 1 No. Hydra Crane CT-15, required for our Ahmedabad metro Project
Phase-1.

Dear Sir,

Kindly refer to your quotation Dt- 05.04.2017 and subsequent meeting had with you; we are pleased to
confirm our requirement for hiring of above said Crane on the following terms & conditions.
1. Hire charges payable by Afcons will be Rs. 1,30,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Thousand
Only) for a month of minimum 300(flexi) Hrs. for 28 (days.) The equipment should be
available for work in good working condition. The hire charges will start from the date of
commissioning of the above equipment at our site. If working duration beyond 300 hrs a
month during working days shall be paid on prorate basis.

2. The said machines shall be commissioned at site only after the proper inspection of the
same by our authorized representatives.
3. The above rate is inclusive of necessary crew (Operators, Helper, and Mechanic etc) for
maintaining the equipment. The upkeep preventive & repair maintenance of the equipment
shall be your responsibility.

4. The present order is for a period of 11 (Eleven) month from the date of commencement of
work. If required permit will be extended with the same terms & conditions.

5. The above hire charges are inclusive of cost of Oil & Lubricants but excluding HSD. HSD shall
be supplied by Afcons free of cost as per standard consumption norms ie 04ltr/hrs. Any
excess consumption shall be deducted at cost + 15% service Charges to be implied referred
herein the agreement shall be solely at the discretion of project Manager of Afcons.

6. If any materials (other than HSD) are supplied by Afcons shall be deducted at cost + 15%
service charges .Any service charges to be implied referred herein the agreement shall be
solely at the discretion of project manager of Afcons.

7. Log book should be maintained by your personnel as required at your cost and the same
should be certified by the Afcons authorized site representative on day to day basis and
should be appended to your monthly bill. One copy of Log sheet should be submitted to
the sub contract section daily. If it is not submitted on daily basis, the non-submission day
will be treated as not worked.

8. a) Equipment provided by you should have valid registration numbers, fitness certificates,
insurance papers, etc. and any dispute arising out of this shall be dealt by you directly with
transport authorities.

b) Only drivers / operators having valid license shall be engaged and they should be insured
for Workmen’s Compensation at your cost.

c) Copy of documents pertaining to Clause 8(a) and 8(b) shall be submitted to AFCONS
before the commissioning of machinery at site.

9. Any disputes arising out of accident met by your equipment should be settled by you. For
your personnel & equipment, necessary insurance cover shall be arranged by you at your
cost. You will arrange for RTO & CPM policy for the equipment at your own cost.

10. Break down hours will be deducted from the hire charges on pro-rata basis. In case of major
break down of 2 days or more, you will have to provide a replacement at no cost to us.

11. You will at your cost carry out Periodic/Preventive maintenance and ensure that the
equipment is always in good working condition. You have confirmed that you will mobilize
required number of persons to carry out Routine Maintenance for the entire above Crane.

12. (a) Payment shall be released on monthly basis after submission of bills.

(b) TDS shall be deducted from your bill as applicable.

13. No. Idle charges shall be paid under any circumstances.

14. All statutory payments pertaining to Crane shall be borne by you.

15. For pre closing of contract minimum of 7 days notice shall be given by sub contractor
however the AFCONS shall be entitled to terminate the contract without any notice and
without assigning any reason for the same. Sub contractor shall not be entitled to any
claim / charges arising out of the said termination.

General:

16. You will ensure that proper safety precautions are taken by you as per AFCONS Safety
Manual and guidelines provided to you Signing of this work order confirms that you are in
possession of these documents for your reference and necessary actions and follow safety
rules & regulations at no extra cost to AFCONS.PPE materials shall be arrange by you ,If you
are not provide, then Afcons shall be provide the PPE material to you on returnable basis, if
you are not return, then same shall be deducted from your bill at cost +15 % service
charges.

17. In case you damage any of the AFCONS or any other agency’s property or persons while
execution of this contract you shall own full responsibility for the same and make good the
loss at your cost.

18. Mobilization and demobilization charges for the above are included in the above price.

19. The Subcontractor / Agency will not remove any plant & equipment from the worksite
without written permission from AFCONS authorized representative.

The terms and conditions stipulated herein are final and binding. These supersede any other
terms and conditions, correspondence between the Sub Contractor and AFCONS or any
personal discussions the Sub Contractor had with AFCONS.
