ESTORBA, CRISABELLE JANE D.

BSCRIM3-04

Learning is the most basic part in our life that we naturally acquired ever since we were
young. We learned different things in different aspects and stages of our life. Through those
stages in our daily lives, we learned such things that we basically imparted knowledge and
lessons into ourselves. We learn what is good and right, the wrong and bad, we learn what that
thing is called or what it does, we learn how things work and how it is done, and we learn how to
respect and whom we respect. In addition, we learn how our life works and its purpose whether
we could lead and live our life to the fullest or not, and to how we apply this learning not just to
ourselves but also to others.
There are processes or such procedures on how we can lead other people which should
start in learning. What I mean at the start of learning is ourselves. Learning should start in
ourselves for us to be able to lead others. Through those knowledge we have acquired and
different lessons we have learned, we can now be able to lead ourselves first then we can lead
other people. In leading ourselves, we should observe how we display our behavior in a good
way, we should start disciplining ourselves and have basic principles in life and pride for
ourselves as this would be an essential to be the foundation of ourselves. Setting this kind of
setup or profile in our life made us "us" as we embodied those attributes. Furthermore, we can
now have a strong foundation of ourselves, according to Keith Davis, "leadership is the ability to
persuade others to seek defined objectives enthusiastically". As we individuals would be able to
stand alone and start binding and leading others as we motivate them towards goals.
In every start, there's always an end. As we basically start with learning, we naturally
end up leading ourselves and also the other people. Learning is our stepping stone in leading,
not just for ourselves but also to others. In leading, we consciously and unconsciously lead
others as this is an instinct of us since we were born. Regardless of any status we have, we
always ended up in the lead.
